Desmond visiting Ann Arbor
Desmond seems to be in Ann Arbor tonight and he seems impressed with Coach Hoke:

May have taken longer than some expected but I believe @DaveBrandonAD got the right man. After speaking w/Coach Hoke, I wanted 2 play 4 him.
He also visited with his "twin" as he said:

I think the twin thing goes back to when Desmond was at Michigan. His Michigan pictures look almost exactly like Denard does now.

wallowing in a pit of negativity. Over the last couple of months, we've been wandering through the Dead Marshes, and he made the mistake of looking down. Now he's being held down by corpse hands (belonging to Drew Sharp), thinking the sky is falling, recruits are decommitting, and the program is forever DOOMed.

I remember he said he'd been constantly talking up RR to the blue-hairs at work since Day 1 and his life was hellish after RR got canned, so he's probably on a short fuse right now. I feel bad for the guy, he's had some nice posts over the years. Oh well. Seasons change, civilizations crumble, species become extinct, and senior MGoBoard members melt down in despair and one-way trips to Bolivia.

It was obvious Desmond was never really behind rich rod. It is nice to see all of our former players speaking volumes about coach hoke and his commitment to this great university.

They should have been behind RR because he was the coach of Michigan just like I'll be behind Hoke even though I'm a little underwhelmed by the hire. Hopefully Coach Hoke proves me wrong and does better then the base of 9-3 that I was expecting for next year with almost the entire team back (this was before OSU sell-a-thon gate).
RR reached out to the former players and some responded others chose to be_____. He put together the alumni game before the spring game and players in the league came back to work out with Barwis. He represented the university well and left the cupboard in better shape than when he got here.
