EA went too far with these commercials. Seeing Archie Griffin in a UM jersey on mgoblog ads is just unnatural.

Also, it's a stupid game mode. EA is running out of little features to add while ignoring improving dynasty mode/gameplay.

I agree.  I do not unerstand how this would even be fun to play?  I would like to play as Michigan with Woodson, Harmon and Desmond, but not other teams' Heisman winners.

No way I am buying 2013.  2014, however with Shane Morris and the new playoff format (assuming them implement it despite it not going into real life effect until a year later), I will be buying that game.

that these are not  ACTUAL players, rather computer generated versions...so you won't actually be able to "see what they would do in a four year career" because they are not real...I once made Bo Jackon run for 9,139 yards in a season with the Raiders in Tecmo Super Bowl, but as good as he was, even that seems a little out of reach.

I saw an ad with Eddie George in a Michigan uniform and just puked.  Why would anyone do this?  Would anyone take Eddie George over Tim Biakabatuka?

is just a tiny bit less perverse than fantasizing about having sex with your neighbor's dog. It's a gross offense against nature and morality.

Wouldn't be a mode I would play if I had the game. Would just run a franchise and dominate or participate in 360 online leagues. No Heisman hypotheticals for me.

I think that this might be the only time that I would reach the same conclusion as an Ohio fan on something - we both desperately hated seeing Howard in an Ohio jersey, even hypothetically.

This feature is stupid. Who wants to have losers like oj simpson, reginald bush and troy smith on Michigan? That's really disrespectful to the school IMO.

The feature should be that you can play as any player you want who was in the heisman race in any year, and then rewrite history. Tom Harmon winning the 1939 Heisman and becoming the first one to win 2. Mike Hart winning the 2006 heisman.

Wellllll.... to my mind, calling Ohio State just 'OSU' as opposed to 'tOSU' or "An Ohio State University or whatnot potentially engenders confusion with Oklahoma State and Oregon State and, seriously, that's just unfair to the Cowboys and Beavers.

The extra features this year are for an ancillary part of the game that no one really plays.  Great.  Remind me why I should drop $60 on this game again?

I really liked last year's version - if you can get past the whole LB-awareness-on-passes issue.  However, and this might be 100% correlated with how much pot I smoked in college, I believe the best versions of the game came out on the ps2 / xbox in the 2003-2005 range.  That was the peak of this series - dynasty mode at its finest.
