DeShawn Sims NBA Summer League on NBA TV now
If anyone has NBA tv and is interested in how Deshawn Sims is looking, the Celtics and Pacers are playing in the Orlando Summer League on NBA tv right now. Sims is looking good through the first half. The announcers are high on him. They like his versatility, and also pointed out that he can finally play his "natural position". Being forced to play center last year held him back a little bit, but it looks like he benefited from playing in the post so much and developed some nice post moves.
I don't follow the NBA closely at all, so I apologize if this is common knowledge. Has Manny been playing any this summer? If so, how's he been doing?
Manny got picked up by the Cavs. He'll be playing in the Vegas summer league July 13-18
Cool. Thanks for the info. Beginnning to look like he may be filling a bit of a void for them starting around 9 or so tonight...(wink, wink)
Didn't he drop 18 in the last game?
Sims got beat baseline by a Pacer guy. Sims fouled him and the guy made the shot. Ties the game. Guy steps up and knocks down the FT to take the lead with 5 seconds left.
Harangody can't get out of his own way on the inbounds and loses the ball to a teammate who heaves it up and misses by a mile as buzzer goes off.
Wish I had NBA TV. Miss the days of the summer league being on ESPN.
