Derryck Thornton Jr. update. (very positive)
Sounds really good for Thornton and battle. How's TJ Leaf, Cassius Winston, or Seth Towns looking?
but if we took Winston we would have both Cassius and Muhammad Ali. How cool would that be?
Great news to come home from work to! Now time to go to sleep. Goodnight/morning, everyone!
He can score and kick dimes with either hand. Quick PG but is under control when running the show. Go Blue!!!
Thornton and Battle in his opinion. It's looking good.
We will see after Battle visit UK and Duke.
Hold me, Sam Webb.
"John Beilein and his staff are pushing for an early commitment and Thornton is well aware of that fact. So aware that he might consider deciding to end his recruitment early."
The film on the UMHoops page sort of reinforces that idea that Thornton would work out well in Beilein's system. I could definitely see him fitting into that scheme rather nicely. Hopefully, we do manage to get him in Ann Arbor.

Does Josh Jackson have a favorite or a leader right now?
he's 100% going out of state.
why isn't he interested in Michigan?
Based on the crystal ball thing at 24/7, it's looking like a UK/KU battle. Pretty sure he's stated that he's 100% leaving the state for college.
Shit I hope I didn't curse the bball program by saying that
FWIW: Jackson's latest Crystal Ball prediction was to the maize and blue. Not holding my breath, but let's not totally count us out just yet.
Michigan isn't even recruiting him all that hard because they know that he's not even looking at Michigan and MSU at all. He's either UK or KU.
On Thornton, Crystal Ball has 75% Michigan, 25% AZ. NICE! Shows what winning and good coaching can do for your program.
As of 3/4/14 all the predicitions were Arizona. After that date all of them were Michigan including 7 people flipping their predicition from Arizona to Michigan. I think I see a trend.
Agreed. The timing and the trends tell more about the crystal ball than the percentages alone. Also, who they come from is important. Pull out all the Michigan people who picked Michigan and the Arizona people who picked Arizona, and see what's left. That paints a bigger picture.
is the first official day that college can "officially" offer scholarship to 2016 prospects. None of the 2016 prospects holds an offer from Michigan for this reason.
