Well played, Mgoscottie! There are times when I see a "KFC" logo and think it's for some mixture of Potassium, Fluorine and Carbon, and that's when I realize that I'm out of my element.

It looked like he was actually trying to make some cuts rather than barrel into a pile of bodies. Hard to say if that was againt a NW team that had half packed it in though.

He looked good to me. The biggest thing I noticed is he wasn't dancing around in the back field. He looked to be runing with a lot of confidence.

Higdon got more time than he did or at least it seemed the was the case. I think Higdon is going to be a good back given a little more time.

Shows that freshmen get an opportunity even with established players in front of them. In the wake of Kareem's visit, OSU contacted Wisconsin's RB commit, Antonio Williams. A good sign.

Ive been on Higdon since I saw his HS tape from Florida. He is a potential #1 back when its all said and done. He has excellent burst, vision and feet and showed today that he can run with some power. It was great to see him earn some carries. He is gonna be a good one.
This RB group is very deep. FBs too!

He was churning those legs a bit after contact on the TD. Even if it was reduced defensive effort, I liked it.

Disagree. Vision was better, explosiveness was better, ran through contact. Looked much better than we have seen in the past.

I agree that he didn't look much different. There was a carry near the end where he made a little jump cut to gain a few extra yards, but otherwise, I don't think he ran stronger or harder or faster or shiftier today.

Green powered through some contact. I thought that was different and noteworthy. Sometimes, however, he tumbles at the LOS without much of an apparent fight. Improvement?

He was much more patient than usual and showed decent vision. Even showed some power on the TD run.

I definitely thought he looked better today. Made some really nice cuts that we're often seeing M backs whiff on this year, looked to have good burst through the LOS, churned out some extra yards after contact.
