Seeing as we have not heard of any second source or confirmation, this is either bunk or something overblown/jumping to conclusions (i.e. passersby sees Green using a crutch or wearing boot to exit practice facility)

No good time to be injured, but could have been during the season. Could also have been for longer time.
Now other guys get a chance to get some reps. With football, has to be, next man up.
Wish DG well, hope he heals soon...maybe quicker than 2 weeks.

Well, that sucks. Hopefully it won't be a lingering injury. Hopefully, he is ready for Central Michigan so that he can get some live action snaps prior to the ND game.

Steve Lorenz just posted about it on the 247 board saying that it was "minor" and basically not worth losing any sleep over.

Of course this is what happens. The board is pretty high-strung around this time of year.

Not that anyone is happy for injuries, but this seems pretty minimal. And it's not like he's the presumptive starter anyway. Should be back in time to play meaningful minutes early on.
