Denver Post Article About Dylan McCaffrey
Pretty interesting article. Makes me even happier that we got this young man.

Some great quotes from Dylan, including this one about his travels on the recruiting trail: "I never met anyone who had anything bad to say about Michigan."
That will change, Dylan.

Sounds like a great kid from a great family. I love the fact that he's embracing the spirit of competing for the job to be the best he can.
Harbaugh is building Michigan into a juggernaut.

Come visit Ohio son and make sure to wear your Michigan gear. That illusion will get destroyed fast.

and wears my Michigan stuff proudly, I can state that you're quote is true! These mouth breathing morons live for when they can say a three syllable word like Michigan.

F*** ohio!!!

intelligence. Such that negative troll talk is unabsorbed in the first place. This is a quality commitment for sure. Will love seeing a member of this outstanding family playing for Michigan.

Wow, the Denver Post is really high on McCaffery. I'd go so far as to say they are "Rocky Mountain high" on him!
/drops mic, quits posting for the day...

Yeah, it was early. I hadn't had my required 11 cups of coffee yet...

There's a second Denver Post article also worth reading, with several more quotes from McCaffrey. He says he hasn't decided yet whether to enroll early.
Dylan McCaffrey and family evaluated all angles before his commitment to Michigan

Dude looks like I just took out my dugout and offered him a tightly-packed bowl.

Or the illegitimate offspring of Joe Dirt and Zach Galifanakis.

Not bad. I get more of a Steve Zahn with wig kind of vibe. Maybe I'm just wanting to watch Saving Silverman.
February 16th, 2016 at 1:50 PM ^
Steve Zahn ain't got that kind of flow. Stache is roughly equivalent.
As an aside, I liked Steve Zahn (w/Michael Imperioli) in Amazon Prime's "Mad Dogs".

I never realized that was someone else. I've always thought it was that guy from that bad movie Strange Wilderness.
February 16th, 2016 at 4:23 PM ^
Today I looked up Foxworthy and he doesn't look much like that guy at all. Apparently I am not smarter than a fifth grader.
February 16th, 2016 at 5:18 PM ^
I'd like to trade my "Zach Galifanakis" for a "Steve Zahn." Illegitimate offspring of Steve Zahn and Joe Dirt? Yeah, I think that's it. Great call on Steve Zahn.

Rather excited about a top flight QB early in the process. I think we can see some transfers from the QB position if they want to play.
Seems like a smart kid. Did Stanford ever send out that offer we thought would complicate things?
February 16th, 2016 at 11:27 AM ^
Brandon Justice:
Stanford never offered Dylan McCaffrey, and I'm sure Harbaugh emphasized that. Michigan gets my favorite QB in 2017 in FEBRUARY. Boom.

Seeing him in person not sure I buy 6'5" and 210lbs. He's probably 6'4" and about 185 as he needs to put on a few pounds. But he is a legit top flight QB and I can't wait to see how good he will get with Harbaugh as his coach.

As the poster mentioned below, that isn't Valor's coach. It's Dave Logan and he's kind of a legend in Colorado. Former CU Buff, played in the NFL for the Browns. He does play by play for the Broncos on the radio (Bill McCaffery does color with him). He's also a stud high school football coach in the Denver area.
February 16th, 2016 at 12:02 PM ^
So all that ignorant bile and vitriol towards an opposing coach and CU alum who says this?
"I was hoping as a former (Buffalo) he'd be heading to Boulder (and CU)," Cherry Creek coach Dave Logan, whose team is 2-2 against Valor over 2014-15, said of McCaffrey. "He's a terrific player and young man, and Michigan has itself a real gem."
So yeah, piss off.

If I had 3 kids in college all at the same time 2 of the 3 would be at OCC if they wanted me to pay for it.
Smartest of the 3 goes to Michigan.
