Denard is a great ambassador of UM, but he' s not Joe Montana hitting John Taylor in stride. He's Tommy Frazier but faster. Tommy Frazier threw the ball 15 times a game.

I think we're seeing the reason that you run bubble screens in the spread offense. Denard isn't great at stretching the defense vertically, so you stretch them horizontally with the bubble screen. Michigan isn't doing that tonight, probably shrinking Denard's running lanes.

That TD play and the short fullback toss are great plays. I like the fact we go under center some and hope we can run out of that look.
Hopefully Denard hits some of those throws he was missing early. He just didn't seem to have great touch on them.
