I think I more then addressed the short comings of Devin. With that being said you are going back to the MSU game where he threw it over the LOS. Did he look lost against Illinois? I don't think so. Did he look lost against NW, I don't thik so. I said that I don't think Devin is ready, but the failure of having a quality #1 at this point is the problem.
I don't know how you can say Devin makes "youthful mistakes" then ignore that Denard does the exact same thing. Denard basically heaved up a prayer off his back foot while running backwards and had the ball picked and droped. How is that any different? Against Iowa he puts the ball on the ground, how is this not a youthful mistake? The problem is Devin is a 2nd year player, those things will happen. Denard is a 3rd year player 11 games into his 2nd full year of starts.
People on this board clearly blindly defend Denard on a daily basis.
JR Hemmingway at 6'2 225 is not a big physical wideout who can go up and get it? Clearly you are nto watching him out jump people for Denard jump balls every game.
So I am not the OC so my opinion doesn't count. Nice logic. More like my opinion is not the same as yours or the majority so my opinion doesn't count.
I have been fair and presented my case in an honest fashion. Neg me all you want.
BTW, with all my experience I admitted to knowing as much as "the common person".
