Denard Update?

Submitted by Webber's Pimp on

Has there been a Denard injury status update? I was the game in a bar (without sound). based on the replays it would appear that Denard injured his hand. Am I correct? Has Hoke said anything?

He appeared to smack his hand on an opponen't helmet.  He seemed ready to go back in, but to that point Denard seemed kind of...flustered.

I just wish the kid would look to run more..he keeps his eyes dowfield and thats what you want normal QBs to do..but he has dilithium legs..if option 1 and maybe 2 are not there..just go

I'm just wondering if some of those injuries are contributing to his ball security issues.  If not...Maybe they need to give him a marked football to carry 24/7, and put a price on its head(day off from running, break from curfew, etc to guy who recovers the fumble)

This is an interesting stretch for Denard since Illinois, Nebraska, and Ohio all practice everyday against poor man's Denard.  Borges needs to solidify some plays that those defenses aren't so experienced against, while making them safe plays that can't blow up into INT's, sacksof double digit yardage, or fumbles.

And whatever happened to running a corner route in the end zone and if it' not there throw it away?

Great win for the defense. AS far as the offense, Borges needs to stop the "trick" plays that fool nobody and either make Robinson a QB or convert him to a RB or receiver.

all over opponents in the previous years.  Those days are gone.  That was a by-product of the Zone Read Spread.  I know Denard didn't do the Zone Read that much, he actually improvised more than anything. but that is not how this offense is supposed to be run.

That being said, when the OSU game comes around, I'm sure we'll some plays that we'll all say, "where has that been all season, that's what I have been waiting for."  I want to see total focus on Nebraska and then dominate them for 60 minutes so we can then begin to focus on OSU.

to see Denard on the sideline. Denard is such a good kid and has done so much for Michigan. He is such an amazing football talent and I believe Borges will use him in the best possible way to help us win our final two games.

I just hope that I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing, as it pertains to Denard and his future to be the Michigan QB. I trust this coaching staff to continue to use both QB's in the best way to help Michigan win out and get to a BCS bowl.(Maybe)
