Watching this makes me sad. Who knows what the NFL has in store for Denard? All I know is I'm going to miss this guy. Through all the ups and downs, I always felt like he gave us the best chance to win. I'm not sure we will have a player as dynamic as him for some time.

Goodnight, sweet prince. Into the dark night of the real world/cruel reality of the NFL you go. I kind of get the "sending kid off to college" feeling from above, and I'm not even a parent.

I don't know if there is a more beloved Wolverine of the last 20 years, at least not to me. Everything we could ever ask in what a leader and representative of Michigan should be, and even more. Goddammit, I'm going to miss him.

Thanks for putting this together, Thorin.

Admittedly, watching the Senior Bowl and then these clips, I thought of that line spoken by Sulu to Kirk at the end of Star Trek VI: "Nice to see you in action one more time. Take care."

I am still sad that he will no longer wear the winged helmet, but I will definitely catch Denard in action in the NFL whenever I can. He's a team player and a leader - he'll find a niche and make the most of it.

I just love that kid...such a quality person.  I hope the best for him & have no doubt he succeed in life, whether than means the NFL or not because of the quality of his character and his likable nature.

Denard could be a great weapon.  Most corners will not be able to single him up and will need LB or S help to prevent the big play.  He could make a career as a deployable decoy with the right system.  Chip Kelly in Philly?

I think I actually only got to see one of those plays live.

It would've been nice if his team had anyone who could actually PLAY the QB position (other than Denard, of course)...Geno Smith comes to mind...but it was obvious that they weren't exactly trying to showcase #16.  Based on the times they threw to him he seemed to do pretty well; I would've liked to see him break a K/O return, but that damned nerve injury probably interfered with his ability to catch the ball.

I just hope DB wasn't watching that game...dude might decide that blue shoulders w/ maize stars is the next direction to go with the UNIFORMZ JERZEEZ.

But...I did enjoy seeing Denard once more playing in his school's colors.  And when he wasn't playing his demeanor seemed good...he seemed his usual upbeat self whenever I caught a glimpse of him, seemed to be happy enough, talking to his teammates.  Lots of "Florida" being spoken on those sidelines.
