Since we all like to share positives, here's one from me:
Today I took my family over to the Victors Walk. We arrived about 12:45 and waited for some time for the bus to arrive. While waiting I started a conversation with a family behind me about score predictions, etc. One man asked me mine and I said, "If #16 has anything to do with it, it'll be 37-17 Blue. He looked at me and said the man next to him was Denard's dad and his mom was right next to both of them. I introduced myself and shook their hands.
I told them that aside from being an incredible athlete, their son can light up a stadium with his smile and that I thought they both have done a wonderful job with him. They said he has had that smile thing going for him since he was little. I heard some very cool stories and genuinely enjoyed talking to them.
After the team walked by I asked his dad if the rumor was true about Denard running a race against Usian Bolt this year. He paused and then smiled and said, "Ain't gonna happen".
Nice day. Very cool parents. Soft spoken and somewhat in awe of the happenings of the day.
