..... "michigan's the better school" didn't like the reporter trying to be smart with his southern drawl and all. Hope we clean the floor with them. ALL IN, ... how it pains me to see us take these cheap shots that were never before thrown our way. Guess it will make the resurgence of this program that much sweeter.

I can't believe that guy asked the follow up "Michigan is a better school than Florida?"  Seriously?  I know I'm a little bit of a homer, but I doubt there's anything in this country, who knows what they're talking about, who thinks Florida is a better school than Michigan.

Inspired by Denard "Shoelace" Robinson (apologies to Tennessee Ernie Ford's "Sixteen Tons")

He was off to the races with no time to delay
After fumbling the snap on his first college play
Eludin’ lots of tacklers as he set himself free
"Shoelace" Robinson was runnin’ for his first TD

Number Sixteen runs, what do you see
"Shoelace" is makin’ some history
Now the Wolverines have ‘im and he’d better not go
‘Cause he’ll set more records before turnin’ pro

When he gets in gear, he can really fly
You’re never gonna catch him, though you may try
He's got Dilithium power and racehorse speed
Smilin’ when he meets you is guaranteed

Number Sixteen runs, what do you see
"Shoelace" is makin’ some history
Now the Wolverines have ‘im and he’d better not go
‘Cause he’ll set more records before turnin’ pro

On a dreary afternoon down at Notre Dame
He put on a performance for the Hall of Fame
Over five hundred yards with some dazzling play
Hey Touchdown Jesus, watch "Shoelace" pray

Number Sixteen runs, what do you see
"Shoelace" is makin’ some history
Now the Wolverines have ‘im and he’d better not go
‘Cause he’ll set more records before turnin’ pro

He was Player of the Year for the whole Big Ten
And just don’t be shocked if he wins it again
Humble and respectful while he’s pickin’ up yards
A Heisman in his future might be in the cards

Number Sixteen runs, what do you see
"Shoelace" is makin’ some history
Now the Wolverines have ‘im and he’d better not go
‘Cause he’ll set more records before turnin’ pro

Hey guys, I've been checking out mgoblog forever, and always love everything that's on it.  I've decided to actually chime in now that all this crazy coach talk has been going on.  I was wondering what you guys felt the chances of Denard leaving UM were if JH is hired and RR is fired as coach.  I cannot for the life of me see Denard in a pro-style offense.  You think Denard would somehow find a way to play for JH or would he decided to transfer?
