Denard walked into the locker room. ESPN sideline reporter claimed a doctor told him after the sideline exam there was no ACL tear.
Mason NEEDS this, Pistons, after all you've put him through
just won't play anymore this game.
And asked if he can returen. He is fine.
is DRob's smile.
Would you expect any other expression from him, even if his leg had been broken? (He'd just be thinking about how he would come back the next year.)
Great to see him walking around. The smile, however, signals nothing.
I hope so. It looked like he hit his knee on the ground on the way out of bounds. It's a good day to get the backups some time anyway.
DRob is sitting on the bench at the sideline with a headset on (14:24 Q2).
ESPN booth crew says he did NOT get an x-ray in the locker room.
Im glad im at home, because I'm pretty sure I shat myself.
...with some Samuel Adams elixir...
I was terrified! I really wish he would have just ran out of bounds.
But such is the game of football.
Lets just hope he's ready to go for next week!
If this were next week. Denard would be back in.
Helmet back on at 8:53 Q2.
Helmet back off, and I think I saw a slight limp while jogging a few steps.
Ok...time for the varsity to come back in
It isn't Gardner, the refs are slanting all the calls for BGSU, and our D and special teams are bad as usual.
I am happy Tate got to play. I like Tate and am grateful for what he did last year. Don't get me wrong Denard is the starter for sure, but I would like to see Tate be second string. Devin hasn't done anything wrong or played bad, but his time will come.
Whew!! Thanx Tate! Not a knock on DG, but did anybody else smile when Tate came in? Good to see him in again.
But i think DG was playing just fine. He basically had two beautiful deep passes that were called back or dropped. I like the Tate move because that Offense needed to relax, and he's good under pressure, but DG was playing well enough to stay in IMHO.
but to me it looked like DG was running scared. On his first carry he managed to turn an 8 yard gain into a 2 yard gain.
I'll take Tate for the time being. Next year...I'd bet on DG.
Tate is still sweet. I like robinson but at the same time I like how the offense flows with him in there. All 3 of our quarterbacks are good I wish there was some way to make them all happy
I did, and I can't recall the last time I saw a QB bouncing around that much after a score.
Tate is still good. But who almost had a heart attack when Robinson went out and was getting examined. The irony of life was staring us down.
It's like rain on your wedding day.
Booth team reporting DRob got taped under the knee and showed end of halftime footage of him warming up.
ESPN just announced that Robinson has been cleared to play for the 2nd half if necessary - crisis averted.
Q4 3:11--ESPN Booth Crew claims "confirmation" that Denard was 'cleared to play' the second half if he had to.
ESPN made it seem like his leg was turned to powder in a combine accident. Thank goodness he just bruised his knee....
On the very run I said "run out of bounds". Lo and behold he hurts his knee. Denard will learn from this and avoid more contact in the future.
It was great to see all three quarterbacks play well. I'd put our top 3 QBs over any other team in the country's.
The D... Still nervous. Anxious to see how they play against B10 competition. MSU's run game will be a real test.
