This kinda wasn't, but definitely was, posted earlier.

Granted it wasn't on the front page of ESPN yet.

The article that goes with the front page of the ESPN site is about running QB's in the Big 10, and not a piece specifically on Denard.

Click the Denard link, homie.
WOOT 100 points!

The placement of that article is relevent due to Denard being on the front page, but Denard being on the front page is not relevent to that article. Denard is on the front page because of the Pat Forde article discussing mobile QBs in the Big 10....... homie.

But, not totally the same, as it was just about on artice.
But it's always great to see Denard (and any other wolverines for that matter) getting some love from the WWL.

How boring and repetitive are the angles on these MSM articles for junkie fans who already know everything?
Borges wants to establish a power game? Wow, interesting. There's a fine line between changing philosophies without sacrificing your best weapon? Huh, you don't say. Keeping Robinson in the pocket more may take away some of his explosive runs, but it could keep him on the field more?!?! Now Bennett is just blowing my mind.
If it's on ESPN, it's written for people who don't follow the program religiously.

I was just trying to let people know out boy is on the cover not just burried in some article.
August 23rd, 2011 at 3:50 PM ^
Put some lotion on that, man!
August 23rd, 2011 at 3:59 PM ^
He is a dirty quarterback.

Desmond had a thing yesterday on ESPN's College Football Live show profiling the top 10 playmakers in college football and he gave Denard #1! I thought it was perfect!
Hopefully, Desmond is spearheading the Denard for Heisman campaign at the worldwide leader!
August 23rd, 2011 at 3:57 PM ^
Nine of the last 11 Heisman winners have been on teams that were in the MNC game.
It's not a genuine award and I wish people stopped getting so enthusiastic about these preseason/early-season "campaigns" as they are only setting themselves up for disappointment.
As always, voters are going to look at the very top of the TEAM rankings for an individual award and we almost certainly won't be there this year.

Who invited the realist to the party?
August 23rd, 2011 at 5:09 PM ^
Not trying to put down your point, which is valid to a significant degree, but I have heard Tennessee fans say the same thing on Woodson v. Manning.
August 23rd, 2011 at 11:37 PM ^
That was pre-BCS (by a year) and Tennessee was ranked #3 heading into the bowl season with an outside shot at the NC. So, not surprisingly, it's typical hillbilly bullshit.
August 23rd, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
True....but a little preseason hype isn't a bad thing.....
so you're down on Michigan already? saying that they're not going to be in the MNC???
August 23rd, 2011 at 5:19 PM ^
If it had been Yahoo Sports or SI or any other online sports journalism site, I might've worried about why* Denard was on the front page, but making the front page of ESPN is pretty much a guarantee that one is NOT involved in any world-shaking scandal.
* - not really, just F ESPN is all.

The sad thing is yesterday Forde had an article in which he bashed the talent that the Big 10 produces, yet today has an article all about the great running QBs.
