But if I wasn't toolaxy and was going to actually vote, i wouldn't vote for Denard. He has had some great games and many of great acheivements but he is not one of the top QB's. Honestly he shouldn't even be in that comversation. Just telling it like it CLEARLY is.

Also, Braxton Miller is just as bad of an ALL AROUND QB. Both great runners, neither great all around QB's

I think the sentiments above regarding Denard being underwhelming this year are fair but only because we are spoiled by what Denard has done in the past. We are going to miss him when he is gone and wishing that we had a Davy O'Brien candidate to vote for.

Just stop saying you're not voting for Denard because you think someone else is better. Are there better QBs than Denard? Yes. Should you vote for someone other than a M player because you're unbiased? Hell no. It's a stupid fan poll, so vote for M players.

Made less mistakes and I GUESS you can say he's putting his team in winning positions (at times when it should be a blowout)... But other than phenominal running, what has he done as far as throwing that is not average if not less? He gets way more recognition than he deserves. Not saying he isn't good because there is no question about that, i'm just saying he has less than earned all of the hype he possesses.

Now I know how others feel about us with Denard! Haha

He's the #100 ranked passer in the nation has thrown 9 interceptions, and fumbled the ball between 3-5 times. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that he's turned it over more than any other player in the nation. Against teams with good defenses he's been terrible and the offense has been anemic, Borges can certainly be blamed for some of that, but Denard hasn't really done anything to help him. Denard has consistently missed wide open receivers and made terrible reads in the running game. Just look at how Borges has now decided to use him, the coaches don't even let him throw the ball anymore, they're so scared of him turning it over. Is that what you expect from your 3rd year starting QB? I love Denard, I really do. He does so many things that make you drop your jaw, but it's becoming clearer that he does just as many things that make you shake your head in dismay.

Are so misleading as well. To say Denard and Miller are ahead of the likes of Barkley, Jones, And Smith is just crazy. Shows that OSU and us Mich fans are heavy voters is all.

He doesn't deserve it...Klein is the obvious choice...other better, more qualitifed candidates are Geno Smith, AJ McCarron, and the aforementioned Miller.

For those of you voting for someone other than Denard I admire your integrity, but since the fan poll is only 5% of the final award our votes are straight up a beauty contest and most voters will be voting for their school or conference. I want a Michigan win. Denard is not the best QB in the country, but I'd love to see our fanbase show up in force and give Denard the fan vote just to prove we have better fans. Plus it'd be nice to give Denard something after all the amazing moments he's given us. #michigandifference

Denard isn't the best QB in the nation.  Just  because he plays for my favorite team doesn't mean that I should vote for him.  The kid from Kansas State is getting my vote.
