Denard Ready to Keep Working Hard
Headline a bit misleading, but good to see Denard has a positive outlook.
Link to Florida Times-Union article:
You don't say
He has put on on a lot of muscle since he was at Michigan, actually looks like a running back.
Let's go Denard
Wish he would've stayed on the track team back in college. He is crazy fast.
That face. He always ran like he was scared... had that wide eye. This pic shows that he will lower the boom if he has to.
Denard might benefit from a few pointers from you!
The last few paragraphs of that linked article talk specifically about the expectations by the Jacksonville coaching staff that their starting RB is proficient in pass protection. Denard himself acknowleges that he has to get better in that area, having been responsible for four sacks last year of his own QB when he failed in pass protection.
Something tells me Denard will get better at that part of his game, too. I'd love to see a healthy Denard as the starter all season long with some 1500 or so yards, but even more, to have him play a key role in propelling/leading the Jags to the playoffs.
I was wondering if he'd have to switch his number...
Guess the OW lives. Awesome picture.
Glad he's finding success.
I made the mistake of reading some of the comments on the profootballtalk.com site, and unsurprisingly I once again find that the world's stupidest people are alive and well on the Internet. Seems they're thriving, actually.

that came up with the article title did Denard no favors, unfortunately. I didn't see any too-off-the-wall comments aside from one or two morons who obviously just read the title and jumped in to post.
Yep, and I'm lumping all those you mentioned into the stupid people category.
I'm just sad Denard was unlucky enough to go to the black hole that is Jacksonville.

The black hole is in Oakland...

C'est la vie, everyone starts somewhere.
The headline of the article is highly misleading. It should read, "Denard Robinson: I want to earn the starting RB position." But hey, gotta get those clicks.
