That video was amazing... some ideas:
RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has a good theme about getting smarter (The Cure!)
CAPTAIN AMERICA has some good lines.
WARRIOR? The short trailer has some good stuff.
IMMORTALS is amazing, but maybe too Sparty.
MY favorite trailer of the year is the new GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO movie, but there is no dialogue, so it wont work, but...

I think a lot of the coolness comes from the music, a cover of the Led Zeppelin "Immigrant Song". Unfortunately Denard did not come from "the land of the ice and snow", like the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo did.
The awesomeness of the Denard - Happening comes from the audio, so I think that needs to be the inspiration to attach to the video highlights.
Don't get me wrong, Immigrant Song is my all time favorite Led Zeppelin song, and completely gives you that feeling of a horde of warriors charging in on an invasion. Just think the lyrics need some tweaking, and not sure that could be accomplished. Well it can, but not easily.
come to think of it, if anyone had music talent, you could rewrite and resing the lyrics, might not be that hard, "comes from the land without ice and snow..." And if Pop Evil can make a crappy song shouldn't be too hard for just anyone to do that I guess.

Your name is inspired, as all Michigan Men must take in a fair amount of RAW BLOODY CARNAGE to play proper MANBALL. So you are off on the right foot.
The answer to your question is simple: too busy! Unfortunately, the real world calls, and among other things working on a book (not about football, don't worry) takes time away from some fun posts on mgoblog. Who knows, though, maybe I will come up with something interesting once or thrice this season. Or maybe not.
However, the thought that you actually "learned" anything from any post of mine makes me think only one thought: you must have me mistaken for someone else. Or, you know very little about the X's and O's. However, just in case, you might wish to relive these previous efforts of mine:
- a heartbreaking diary of staggering genius (a graphical view of bo, mo, lloyd, and richrod)
- graph theory (a simple look at how to use graphs to compare teams)
- i hate everything (a delicious rant post the OSU game, which I wrote while my OSU inlaws were in the house celebrating the victory)
- memories of the game (an emo piece when they were talking about making the OSU game not the last one of the year)
- mgowords and mgostats (nerdy analysis of all the words B. Cook writes)
- hennegraphs (in which henne charts are made into graphical gems)
- the schiano mafia (in which i relive a drug-fueled night of the old mgoblog commenting system)
There are others, but of even lower quality. Enjoy, or at least, read.

Maybe I have you confused with someone else. There was a HS coach who got on here and broke down stuff about defense and offense all the time. I thought his tag was coach something, and I thought it was you. Perhaps not.
