Denard Gives Away Shoes

Submitted by raleighwood on

I live in JAX and Denard was on the news tonight.  His Shoelace Foundation gave away 80 pairs of shoes today as part of his community involvement activities.  They were all given to school aged kids involved with the United Way.  It looked like they were all adidas shoes (not sure if that means anything).

It's good to see Denard do so well in his post-college life.  Not sure if this link will work...but I'll give it a try.

I'm so proud of Denard. As much as I love him as a player and athlete, I think I like him even more as a person and the way that he continues to represent Michigan in the finest way possible.

What a class act!  Always has been and will be, I am proud to say that he went to the University of Michigan.  I am sure his parents are proud of him and I hope that all young men and women look to his, and other Wolverines, who give back to their communities....

Now how in the hell are these kids supposed to wear these shoes without laces?!?

/if you don't get the sarcasm here, then batteries in your meter need to be changed

Wow that's awesome. As dark as the last 7 years of Mich football have been, I can't even fathom how much worse they would've been without Denard; and Devin as well. Athletic ability aside, those two are some truly special people.

I often wondering what would have happened if Tate stayed all four years and we didn't get to see as much of Denard at quarterback. No offense to #5 but I sure am glad Denard became the spotlight. If it wasn't for him.... Nevermind. I don't even want to think about it.
