Kudos to DRob.
You have to have one hell of a year to make that list at 7-5.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:28 AM ^
Oh well, so he'll only be a two time heisman winner
December 12th, 2010 at 1:29 AM ^
Where's Pryor - the most dominating player in college football?
December 12th, 2010 at 1:40 AM ^
I've been sort of wondering -- at what point does repeatedly being left out of the conversation for awards stop meaning you were "snubbed" and start meaning you were just overhyped?
December 12th, 2010 at 4:17 AM ^
now. Your junior year is when you're supposed to "turn it on". He didn't, he just benefitted from good talent around him. A great player would have led a team with that much depth and talent to at least a title game.
December 12th, 2010 at 11:42 AM ^
that you guys will beat to death until it is not funny anymore? JW
December 12th, 2010 at 1:12 PM ^
I always know someone is cranky when they break out the rhetorical questions.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:36 AM ^
He would be in the "Others Not Receiving Votes" category.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:39 AM ^
he played in Auburn, Michigan, or Northwestern's offense. He'd be on his 3rd Heisman by now.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:44 AM ^
Hell, they would probably be getting ready to rename it the Pryor Trophy.
December 12th, 2010 at 2:12 AM ^
Pryor in the spread won a ton of hypothetical votes.
December 12th, 2010 at 10:34 AM ^
In any other awards he would dominate the awards.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:22 PM ^
I always wondered why he was always included in those "Heisman Hopefuls" montages all season. I now feel vindicated.
December 12th, 2010 at 2:34 PM ^
Haha. I did a double check scan just to ensure no one lost their mind and got him on there. I think he needs to set up a press conference to discuss this.
December 12th, 2010 at 3:20 PM ^
The Pryor jokes might be funny if we could actually beat the guy for once.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:40 AM ^
1 spot above Mr. Mallett.
December 12th, 2010 at 3:20 AM ^
I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned that. Then again, maybe it's because we only talk about players who play for Michigan.
December 12th, 2010 at 4:18 AM ^
then why are we talking about Pryor on this thread?
December 12th, 2010 at 10:10 AM ^
"Those who stay will be champions"
December 12th, 2010 at 1:41 AM ^
I must say that it makes me happy Owen Marecic made the top ten. He is an old school player who does a little of everything. His inclusion was a good call by the voters.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:43 AM ^
should give DB pause about any major CC. RRod took a kid who nobody wanted as a QB and turned him into a Heisman contender in his Sophmore year which also was his 1st year as a starter . . .
Very impressive. Looking forward to what he will do to Miss State now that he is healthy . . . and a warm weather game won't hurt either.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:49 AM ^
I wouldn't say nobody wanted him as a QB and it's not like he was a 2 star recruit. The kid was listed as a top 15 athlete on rivals.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:56 AM ^
but wasn't Michigan one of 2 and a half schools to give D-Rob the chance to play QB?
(The others being KSU & Florida {half-chance})
December 12th, 2010 at 1:59 AM ^
yes, you're correct.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:54 AM ^
All Big-Ten

6th in Heisman voting
1st 2,000/1,500 player in NCAA history

Less charismatic than Stalin
Fin
December 12th, 2010 at 3:25 PM ^
This alone should give DB pause about any major CC.
Nonsense. It's a team game. Individual crap is secondary. As a product of Bo's system, Brandon should understand that.
December 12th, 2010 at 4:33 PM ^
all I'm saying is that RRod has shown an ability to get better than expected performances out of his players. Our team is very very young and will finally prove this point next year when we hang a ton of points on every team we play.
And as much as football is a team sport, you'll never win it all without a few standout superstars - see Woodson, Charles or Howard, Desmond.
December 12th, 2010 at 6:04 PM ^
I would expect this "Michigan is a one-man team" rhetoric on the message boards of MSU or ND -- but here, from a knowledgable guy?
Denard is an exceptional athlete, but his stats are not just about him or the system -- they're also about outstanding O-line and WR blocking, and a solid RB game (when we had one). Denard playing behind the 2008 O-line would have gotten nowhere.
Our offense—as a team—is very good, and only going to get better (if there is continuity).
December 12th, 2010 at 1:51 AM ^
he's fast
December 12th, 2010 at 2:14 AM ^
I didn't know that Jesus was fast. How fast was he?
December 12th, 2010 at 2:25 AM ^
to run across water
December 12th, 2010 at 2:38 AM ^
not fast enough to keep the D-Rob out of the end zone.
December 12th, 2010 at 2:42 AM ^
denard out of the end zone.... He loves him (can u blame him)
December 12th, 2010 at 11:27 AM ^
December 12th, 2010 at 1:52 AM ^
Favorite part of that play is the fact he runs all the way through the end of the endzone.
December 12th, 2010 at 1:55 AM ^
Who the fuck is Justin Blackmon?
December 12th, 2010 at 1:57 AM ^
Best receiver in the game, that's who.
December 12th, 2010 at 2:00 AM ^
that will probably finish the season with 1800 yards recieving and 20 touchdowns...
Sometimes other teams besides Michigan play in college football games, too!
December 12th, 2010 at 2:41 AM ^
Haha I deserve that. I was joking but thanks for putting me in my place haha
December 12th, 2010 at 2:44 AM ^
it's late.
i'm bored.
December 12th, 2010 at 4:54 AM ^
Gonna be drafted by the Lions
December 12th, 2010 at 7:10 AM ^
the Lions comment. It's too soon.
December 12th, 2010 at 12:18 PM ^
God I hope we take Peterson. We need a game changing CB.
December 12th, 2010 at 2:38 PM ^
It's an African American pokemon. It's a new one coming on the new pokemon game, pokemon black & white. It's a Dark pokemon that starts out with moves like "Afro Break", "Hi Jump Kick", "Quick Attack", "Swagger". It's very fast and is more effective at escaping a tough battle using "Run". The only attack it's weak against is "Tackle". Surprising huh?
