Denard and Kovacs are back! Continuing the Parade into Schembechler Hall
In order to restore some good feels to the MGoSphere today, I present this wonderful image of the two quintessential Michigan Men back in beautiful Ann Arbor.

we would be all set at both RB and WR then.... Come on, someone had to go there....

Devin really had great potential as a QB.
Think about this: No other QB was actually developed to the point where they even looked like they should be throwing the ball, much less actually throw for a TD. Developing DG is one of the major dissapointments of the Hoke era, and probably the top reason he's not the coach now.

When is Patrick Stewart going to come and conduct the band again?

Anyone know what Denard's shirt says?
February 20th, 2015 at 12:29 PM ^
Where's WolverineDevotee? Surely he already has five of them.
February 20th, 2015 at 12:46 PM ^
I thought the camara was supposed to add weight.
February 20th, 2015 at 1:04 PM ^
Very cool indeed, and I do like that shirt actually - "M Student Veteran". I may have to get one myself.
I know this was discussed the other day, but I don't think anyone is surprised by the flow of former Michigan and even non-Michigan players and personnel in and out of Schembechler Hall for visits now. This is one of the tangible aspects of the so-called "Harbaugh Effect", I would say.
February 20th, 2015 at 1:40 PM ^
Dave Brandon being gone. I know that a lot of current/recent players like him, but the older guys couldn't stand him. He treated at least one former star I know like just another fan/cash register.
February 20th, 2015 at 12:29 PM ^
Did they get to meet with Coach Harbaugh? That picture would be awesome too!
February 20th, 2015 at 12:35 PM ^
Haven't followed Kovacs as close as I should...is he going to be back on the Dolphins next year?
February 20th, 2015 at 2:06 PM ^
Whether he's still there after the draft and camps and preseason cuts is another question. But he wasn't one of the cuts after this season, isn't one of the 10 guys signed to their "futures/reserve" group, has been back and forth from their practice squad a couple of times, and I think this last time he was taken from Philadelphia's P.Sq. to move back on to their active squad. Sounds like they like him, so here's hoping.
February 20th, 2015 at 2:22 PM ^
That's hopeful at least. Cmon Mr. Ross! Do a fellow Michigan Man a solid!
February 20th, 2015 at 2:53 PM ^
He might be giving him a solid just be giving him a chance.
February 20th, 2015 at 12:35 PM ^
That is all.

So much smile! Only thing that would make me smile more is:
Jaylen Brown!
Jaylen Brown!
Jaylen Brown!

I still can't believe Emily dumped him for Jeff and Ari the race car driver. Then Emily gets engaged to Jeff and they end up breaking up months later. So frustrating. And it turns out she lied about the fantasy suite!
Wait...I mean...what's the Bachelor?

I've stared at that PeeWee Denard picture over and over again, and it was only now that I noticed the connection!
Denard and Jordan were destined to be together in our hearts!
February 20th, 2015 at 2:15 PM ^
Can we pull some strings so Denard gets another year of eligibility?

Myself and a couple fellow history majors would sometimes drive up to Ann Arbor when we had to write our research papers/ thesis' (Theseus? Thesii? anyway) to use the Stacks at Hatcher...a much larger variety of books and media for most of our topics than our campus library had on hand, so it was the best way to knock out a bunch of research on a weekend, as well as an excuse to get some good food in Ann Arbor.
Anyway, one of these trips (I believe it was Spring 2011) my friend and I had just finished up lunch and were heading back. Driving down South U, we stopped at the crosswalk by Ulrich's and a pedestrian was approaching the crosswalk. He didn't really notice me there and was walking into the crosswalk, but looked up and kinda caught himself. I waved him through anyways and got the most beaming smile I think I had ever seen in return...it was Denard.
I drove on toward State and once we got to the light we both looked at each other and exclaimed "Holy shit...that was Denard Robinson!" Made my day.
February 20th, 2015 at 2:36 PM ^
I hope both of these guys have a role in the program someday.
February 20th, 2015 at 2:47 PM ^
They already do.
February 20th, 2015 at 3:59 PM ^
Because of his love for the game, I think Denard is going to be a football "lifer" who starts coaching as soon as the NFL doesn't want him. He'd make a great GA in Ann Arbor.
