Dee Hart RE-committing??

Submitted by BKFinest on

Take it for what it's worth, but apparently Rod Smith had an in-house with Dee after the game and apparently has him back on board. The situation is fluid, but the text I got said from a connected source said " Will Campbell, 2010 version - Dee to recommit to Mich @ Army All American game."

TomVH? Any legs?

EDIT: Also picked up by GBW. http://michigan.scout.com/a.z?s=162&p=2&c=1028124&ssf=1&RequestedURL=ht…

With all of this nonsense surrounding Dee Hart, have we heard anything going on about other recruits visiting AA this weekend? Also, it seems as though the confidence of Dee in Michigan parallels the back and forth media sensationalism surrounding the coaching situaiton. Only time will tell but time is hell ....

But we have Justice Hayes.  Dee would be a great pickup and I truly hope he goes Blue, but it is on the other side of the ball where my worries are.  Frost and Walls are who keep me up at night.

"You may have issues if you stay up at night worrying about recruits."

Indeed, and if he's taking those worries to bed, dear wife or girlfriend must be wondering why Mr. Goodwrench isn't performing very well lately.

I had a feeling this would happen, never underestimate the power of the wizard.  We'll have to see how this plays out but obviously we're his first choice.  If I were him I might have a case of cold feet too with all the crap that's happening.  Good sign that he hasn't publicly dee-committed yet.

@TomVH's response is good enough for me.

It sounds like we're at least back to neutral or a 50/50 chance.  I'm praying for some stability after the week we've had.  Stability Now Dammit!

On the offhand chance Dee or anyone else facing a difficult life decision reads this - I'd like to say something:

Dee, Michigan is great. It's a wonderful place and you will have a blast. Even if Rodriguez leaves, you are deadly enough to be used by any coach with a brain, and that includes Harbaugh. If you play hard and act with integrity you will be loved here no matter how your playing career goes.

But: if you feel better at Alabama or Auburn or even somewhere more local - GO THERE. This is the most important decision of your life so far (probably!) and it's most important to feel good and be happy than to be worried about disappointing people. This is YOUR choice - nobody else's.

Gentleman of the blog- let me take care of this.  I know Dee reads this blog and that he takes everything that I post very seriously........so here we go.  Dee- you should commit to Michigan.  Become a Michigan man.  It will change your life.  There- it is a done deal.
