I think you are thinking of Harrison Ford... the actor that has played Han Solo in every movie he's done since 1975.  Just a maturing, less cocky, and older, Han Solo through the years.

Han Solo looking for the Holy Grail with 007 while using a whip; Han Solo solving an Omish-Murder;  Han Solo as President of the U.S.; Han Solo running from authorities in Chicago while looking for a one-armed man; Han Solo trapped on an island with Ellen's lady-partner; Han Solo sitting on Late Night with David Letterman answering questions about Ally McBeal, etc.

God I hated that movie.  Lessons of the movie:

Lesson 1:  We're destroying the earth

Lesson 2:  The military is a bunch of blood thirsty, trigger happy idiots, that laugh and share beers when innocent lives are ended.

Janeane Garofalo (Film Actors Guild): "As actors it is our responsibility to read the newspaper, and then say what we read on television like it's our opinion"

I actually liked that movie. It was not the most original but it was still entertaining. That being said, it was not worth the 300 million plus it took to make the movie.

I'm wouldn't say you 'missed' it, spacemanspiff.

Edit:  I didn't actually see it, just being a smart ass based on what I've gathered from these other posts.
