Many haters have pointed out the parallels this year’s team has had so far to last year’s squad. A young inexperienced defense, a young QB, a 4-0 start against, possibly, overrated opponents, a QB who was banged up early in the season, and an Michigan DB hating god seeking vengeance. Well, many of us have worried that this year may turn out similar once the Big 10 schedule came around. I certainly feel this year will be dramatically different. However, I began to wonder when Roundtree was tackled shy of the end zone again and, like the Illinois game last year, we failed to score only to surrender a soul crushing 99 yard drive for a TD. With Robinson hurting again, I began to wonder if our worst fears could come true. Meeechigan showed a lot of heart out there today and, I hope, has finally put the nail in the coffin of the horror of the past two years! Our young D is showing signs of improvement, the O-line is excellent, the receivers and RB’s are talented and deep, and we have depth at QB!
