DE Frank Clark Arrested for 2nd Degree Home Invasion
And making them do stupid things. Damn aliens.
I blame Trent Dilfer.
Nah. Space Emperor wouldn't let that happen, unless maybe the Patriots cheerleaders had him distracted.
Can we just leave Sandusky and all that mess out of this!!! Enough is enough!
Hi OH!!! Tickets are still available for the Sunday matinee!
Gonna go out on a limb here and guess the Lions comment was in reference to the Detroit Lions...
Front page...just an FYI. But seriously, what the fluff?
do me a favor and go fuck yourself.
Holy... I will be in this court tomorrow (internship). Probably shouldn't be as excited as I am for that considering the circumstances.
Wow...note to self avoid RCMB for a while
Why any Michigan fan wants to read that filth by the slime that post there is beyond me.
is impossible to read anyway. They cannot write in complete sentences. No one cares what they have to say. We just have to do the right thing with these players.
Someone should put this on the home page.
My fault, i always link straight to mgoboard and don't visit the home page.
You up voted yourself.
this is such bullshit
they're coaches keep dealing out wrist slaps and ours keep dealing out suspensions and dismissals, no. Not remotely.
Edit: I didn't neg you into changing your post, by the way. Just making a logical observation to your original post.
my head is spinning, reconsidered, decided need to keep focus here at home before lashing out at those lashing out.
This is a joke right? Was Frank Clark really arrested or is this just troll bait?
You seriously asking this? Read the front page fellow MGoBlogger and you shall receive your answer.
Are you freaking kidding me? You know I got blasted on here when I suggested after the Campbell arrest that this was getting a little out of hand, this is the 8th or more arrest under Hoke now. This is a problem folks.
The problem is kids making bad decisions. It happens everywhere. It only becomes a problem when someone gets emotional or has their fun laughing at others because, inevitably, it will come back home and sting twice as bad.
Home invasion is.. a little weird... but DUIs, MIPs, marijuana... sorry guys but if you're running a college program it's bound to happen. I'm NOT going to read tRCMB and see what they have to say (why would anyone?) but the bottom line is that it's going to happen everywhere and that's why I just keep my mouth shut when it happens to be one of ours.
And here.... comes... my e-stalker!
GO F yourself if you think that's a trolling comment. Seriously. Tell me what part of saying kids everywhere make bad decisions is a troll.
I think people accuse you of trolling because you pretend to not be an MSU fan when you mention MSU in all of your posts. Except for this one post complaining about your points, of course.
And I'm not the one downvoting you.
Not be the person to start a thread on these matters. At least I know a fellow Wolverine would not be typing with an evil grin on their face.
Was the OP fully arounsed while typing this duplicative piece of shit?
Frank Clark is accused of stealing a MacBook Air from Stockwell Hall, according to police.
...unless there's some misunderstanding between the accuser and the accused, that's quite a bit more than just some video games.
This is not the post you are looking for.
Not just in Frank Clark, but this is our 8th arrest under Hoke I think.
What's more, this was from an incident on June 14th I am hearing. Why didn't the coach know about this, or if he did know about this why are we just hearing about it? That's not normal for Michigan, to sweep things under the rug.
Jerald Robinson, Marvin Robinson, Will Campbell, Josh Furman (Acquitted), Stonum 2x, Toussant, and now Frank Clark.
You know, on other boards I caught crap for criticizing Hoke on how he handled the 1st Stonum arrest under him, his 2nd drunk driving offense. I said now is the time to send a message this early ointo his tenure, but he simply gave him a redshirt year and he would have been able to play at Michigan again after 2 DUIs and 2 other alcohol offenses had he not screwed up the last time. People flamed me, but now we are seeing some other problems. Doesn't mean I was right, but there sure are too many arrests going on for my comfort.
Even the Josh Furman case reflected poorly on Michigan, sure he got acquitted as he should have, but was he really carrying himself like a Michigan man by trying to run through a couple girls in order to get at a biy he had a beef with? It's just not the type of behavior I like to see.
The first four guys on that list all had run-ins that any group of 80+ college guys are going to have. What Furman did was not a big deal, not something worth posting on a board. Was it awesome? No, but that stuff happens to good people all the time.
And you can't speak wrt Stonum. Once he got his second DUI, he never played a football game for us again. Do you know Hoke was going to play him? Or was he letting him finish his degree before booting him? You have very little to stand on for any of this.
Lets see how he handles Toussaint (and Clark if it ends up being serious). But for now, no one has done anything worth getting seriously punished for, except Stonum, who is gone.
EDIT: Also - just because we're hearing about this now doesn't mean Hoke swept anything under the rug. These things are often handled without the public knowing about it, until games come around. There's absolutely no reason for our coaches to come out and announce stuff like this in the off-season. It's really none of our business how the coaches handle these things, and just because it's not public knowledge doesn't mean they're doing nothing.
Would it help you to know that you're wrong?
Hoke DID know about it and suspended Clark. You're only hearing about it today because it showed up on the court docket. Hoke is not obligated to alert the media.....or you.
Hoke knew long before we did. He subscribes to the philosophy that what happens with his players is between him and the players (until the media gets a hold of it).
I agree -- there is no reason that he should have to "announce" that someone got in trouble -- we don't need to know all the personal issues.
I believe Hoke said something to the effect that Clark is and has been suspended indefinitely, implying he knew about it and had already handed down the suspension prior to the news coming out.
EDIT: from Hoke's statement
Frank was and will continue to be suspended pending the outcome of the investigation."
Why do YOU need to know about it before now?
Of course he knew about it and thank God he doesn't spend his time making sure you or the media is informed right away.
This is consistent with his other suspensions.
Completely agreed but careful, acknowledging reality around here apparently gets you marked as a troll.
Ahhh...smart...Frank Clark and Fitz T. get supended indefinitely just in time to expand the 2013 recruiting class and/or poach current Penn State studs.
Not to worry folks...its a win/win either way.
2/10 first post, would not recommend.
This has to be a joke right?
Usually when a school is looking to free up room, they go with starters looking for All-Conference honors after a great season and a guy who played in twelve games as a true freshman at a thin position group.
The best part is we don't have a backup WDE to play against Alabamas "best in the nation" offensive line now, unless a TE converts in a few short weeks, or true freshman Strobel burns his redshirt, or we get a transfer.
Miami... You have got to be shitting me.. He might have had big role this year, following the big game in the Sugar Bowl
goodbye frank and goodbye Glenville. Fitz see ya in october.
First of all, you're jumping the gun. And goodbye Glenville? Did we say goodbye Cass Tech after BooBoo? If this is ends up being the end for Clark, that doesn't really say anything about Glenville. And I doubt Ginn would have a problem with Hoke punishing Clark if this is all legit.
There are no other places that information can be found on this site.
Obviously Hokes character building program hasn't lived up to expectations.
Time to accept the fact that Michigan isn't immune from legal troubles and we can't make fun of other schools that have player run-ins with the law.
But, if Frank Clark is convicted of Home Invasion, he's gone. There is, and should be ZERO tolerance for that kind of offense. I'd say pursuing Anthony Zettle might be a great option indeed.
What the fuck are we doing? I mean seriously. We are a month away from the season and people are being complete idiots.
We need these seniors to step up and take control. This isn't Denard's fault, not at all, but this is where he needs to call a team meeting and stop being everyone's friend. He needs to like a fucking fire under everyone and demand that everyone stay out of trouble.
This selfishness on this team right now is amazing.
But kind of hope zettel ends up knocking on the door of coach hokes office...
I think Olaniyan might be a better fit for this new need because he's a junior WDE with game experience, whereas Zettel is a rs freshman SDE who could grow into a 3 tech a-la Jibreel Black. Honestly, I think we need both, as both could potentially start in 2013 on our thin depth chart...
I see what you mean here, but the likelihood that Clark is gone is almost a foregone conclusion. Anthony Zettle was born to play WDE and considering that the two are the same age, and Zettle's motor, it might not be such a bad swap. I remember watching Zettle's tape as most here probably do too. I seriously doubt that moving (if indeed he does don the maize and blue) Zettle to a 3 tech is such a smart idea. Although not a terribly bad idea, he's still young and could fit quite nicely as a backup to (now) Beyer. I'm still pissed that Clark had to engage in such reprehensible behavior but what's done is done. Zettle seems like the best replacement option.
I almost think its likely Zettel comes to Michigan, honestly. After seeing how the PSU newspapers and his local hometown news rags talk about it. I would've thought he'd stay before, but not now... If he and CJ make the move then it'll likely be both of them, and Black and Pipkins starting in '13. Not as scary a proposition as my past depth charts were for next year. I have full confidence in our young prospects stepping up, but having no choice but to throw them in there freaks me out, lol.
Would you like to BKFinest it?
And learn our defense in a month?
Not necessarily, but like I said, he's still young. He's got four years of eligibility. Frank now has three (IF he stays). Might as well move on with good pieces right?
Can't argue with that. Long-term, we could definitely use Zettel.
And if Frank Clark gets dismissed, it wouldn't hurt our scholarship allotment either. Essentially we'd be swapping a one year veteran with a redshirt. But seriously, it couldn't look any better. I say Zettel should be our #1 option right now. Plus, he's ative MI and didn't turn down Hoke and Co. He turned down RR. I can't seriously take offense to that.
Alright I called Fitz an idiot for his actions since that is only thing that can explain his actions but Clark is a criminal if this turns out to be true. He showed such great promise. Why is knowing right from wrong so hard?
What the hell's going on around here???
And for the first time since he was hired, I am moderately pissed at Brady Hoke.
There has to be more to this story.
It was stupid to do but ill bet he wasn't in need of a computer. And ill bet she really didn't want him to see what's on it to go as far as calling the cops.
Speculation, yes. But there is no logical explanation for taking a computer like this and being turned in.
If it was just a theft and they didn't know each other only 1% of stolen lap tops are found.
It was a macbook air worth $1000 at least. I would call the cops if someone was trying to steal mine.
when do men do stupid things:
A) they're drunk
B) there is a girl involved
C) both A and B
People can downvote all they want, but the fact is that right now team discipline is a major problem, and the man responsible for the team is Brady Hoke.
The arrests in the last 15 months under Hoke are unprecedented from my memory of Michigan Football, even if some of the arrests were ticky tack infractions, still, we have 8 of them. There are other B1G teams who also have young and stupid kids who have zero arrests in that time frame.
Its time to drop the hammer. Long term we need a set precedence much like the non visit policy after commitment. Found guilty of any class B misdemeanor and you are gone, no exceptions.
I don't understand how my imput is considered "Flaimbait" either. Nothing I said was soliciting any kind of special attention. I'm simply stating an opinion. Way to alienate your bloggers. I don't post here much but I've been reading for years. I don't "Tweet" either so coming here gives me some good insight. It's insulting to have my posts relegated to "Flaimbait" when nothing about them is offensive or immaterial.
explain to me what constitutes "Flaimbait?"
"flamebait" probably qualifies. Especially when you seem to have gotten so many spelling illustrations.
Wow. What a solid character you are. You never make typos?
Because I wasn't aware "typos" could occur 3 times in two different posts, all the same way. Might want to get your keyboard fixed.
Also, as a tip - complaining about negging generally gets you negged.
Generally, someone else couldn't, either.
Does anyone know when Clark was suspended? Obviously it didn't start today.
Why is some idiot just downvoting everything? I asked a perfectly legitimate question. Does anyone know when his suspension started?
Welcome to the club man. I posted that our ND, MSU, and Nebraska games would be interesting ones this year that would probably come down to whoever wins in the trenches and was downvoted and called a troll, lol.
Actually, a couple months ago I was telling someone how to buy UM game tickets through the school and was downvoted as a troll! Figure THAT one out!
The theft occurred June 14th, they allegedly caught and arrested Clark with the computer on the 17th I think. I'm sure he was suspended as soon as coach found out which would have been the 18th or within a couple days after.
Apparently because of "spelling illustrations."
All of you need to stop bitching about being negged. It's meaningless, and you're all getting butt-hurt over nothing. You sound like a bunch of ninnies.
24 hour surveillance on Denard? (sarcasm)
This day absolutely is putting the UCK in SUCK!
It could be worse. You could be a Penn State fan.
Home Invasion? Come on man... Sigh
So much for the promising career he was looking to have.....
Oops, thought this was a lions thread..
say it aint so. Lets see what happens before we all spill our beers in our laps in a WTF moment.
Can Jake Ryan play WDE?
