DB Recruiting and Transfers
Ok this may be positive thinking but I remember a few days ago there was a forum on Joe Haden's brother looking to transfer and some other DB that was thinking about transferring. Because of recent events do we have any chance with them? Do Turner's transfer, and Woolfolk's injury have any effect on our recruiting? TomVH please help. Sorry if these have areadly been gone over.

Even if they transfered, they would have to sit out year, not helping this years dire situation.

Like DrWolverine said it wouldn't matter, they would have to sit out. The only way it would help is if we got a junior/senior DB to transfer from USC.
They'll have to work with what they have.

Five Stages Of Grief
Denial and Isolation. At first, we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.
Anger. The grieving person may then be furious at the person who inflicted the hurt (even if she's dead), or at the world, for letting it happen. He may be angry with himself for letting the event take place, even if, realistically, nothing could have stopped it.
Bargaining. Now the grieving person may make bargains with God, asking, "If I do this, will you take away the loss?"
Depression. The person feels numb, although anger and sadness may remain underneath.
Acceptance. This is when the anger, sadness and mourning have tapered off. The person simply accepts the reality of the loss.

The good news? You're already on step three! The bad news? Depression comes next. Have fun with that one.

With Michigan Football I completely skip stages 1-3 and immediately just go to depression.. stay there for a long time and then finally get to acceptance and then something else happens...
*sigh*...

Dr Kubler-Ross. Now IF you don't mind, I'd rather not have my feelings invalidated by some academic analysis.
BTW, this has been posted before.
Edit: Sometimes it just feels good to wallow in your misery. Then when you wake up you can see the reasons to still be optimistic (hopefully). 10-2 just became less likely. 8-4 can still be done.

Cocky this year...I mean, defensively speaking, we all pretty much see the writing on the wall. Howeva, maybe we can be surprised...just a little?
Could Avery possibly be Freshmen all big ten(Or Christian for that matter). Just maybe...for once?
Also, will RR ever go to the huddle offense? More ball control. This seems like an excellent strategy to keep your defense off the field.
Thoughts?

I think we just have to trust the offense this year...nohting wrong with a shootout if you win! I still wouldn't mind getting someone from USC though...does anyone know what procedures to go through to make that happen? There has to be someone in the USC secondary that won't get any playing time, might as well give it a try.

I've been thinking about that myself ever since Turner left. Is there any legal way to contact them and see if they at least want a chance at a bowl game?
