Day after Thanksgiving College Football Open Thread

Start with Syracuse-Temple, but shortly followed by the more important but ultimately disappointing Nebraska-Iowa. LSU-Arkansas, the Apple Cup, Arizona-ASU, and various other games of modest importance. But it kills time till the leftovers come out.

Iowa fans might be the most loyal in the nation.

They still filled Kinnick Stadium even when they were going 1-10 and 3-8 in the 1970s.

They Hayden Fry showed up....

I'm honestly questioning if they are trying to lose. The mistakes like 12 men in the huddle out of a time out. The play calling. The fact they aren't stacking up against the run. It appears they are making an effort to lose.

This is just unbelievable.  Wisconsin blows a 17 (!) point lead.  PSU blows a 14-point lead and then gets jobbed by the officials.  Michigan's QB goes down.  MSU has a TD wiped out because of a dumbass penalty incidental to the play, gives up a 4th and 10 and then gets jobbed by the officials.  Nebraska's luck has to run out, right?

Just when I think nothing can piss me off more than Iowa, they have to remind me that I don't have hockey to look forward to after college football ends

The announcers just ripped Iowa's playcalling/clock management a new one. "You can't be taking this much time between plays if you're going to run the ball and throw 5-yard passes"
