Not too surprising considering the rumors that he was the anonymous football player who wrote a book this offseason about how he hates the NFL.

Man, I loved him on the field for us and in the interviews.

Wish we could have him this year. Molk at Center, let Cole take over Right Guard and keep Newsome at Left Tackle.

Hopefully he isn't in constant pain the rest of his life, has a bit of money to fall back on, and has a great second career. Loved him at UM. A leader with heart and class...

Yes, but... 3 seasons of service time means that he will get $1,410/month starting at age 55. He's 27. That's a long way away, and not a lot of money even now - think about 28 years of inflation. I haven't gotten up to speed on every aspect of the players' pension. But that's not enough to live on. He either needs a fantastic money manager or another career. Hopefully he saved most of his salary.

Talk about football like that, and admit you don't really like the game, and neither Harbaugh brother will ever speak to you.  That goes completely against everything they stand for and have ever talked about.  Though I do think Harbaugh would welcome him back as an alumni in good standing, I don't think he'd ever let him address the team.

.....but the best two seasons Michigan has had since '06 have come while getting outstanding Center play from seniors Molk and Glasgow.

His nasty edge made him one of my favorites.  I wish him well.

Into my Maize & Blue heart forever after I watched him grit through a frickin' torn tendon during the Sugar Bowl. I think those of us watching will forever be grateful, because the first few snaps from Mooseman seemd to be aimed for the first few rows in the stands instead of Denard's hands.

His performance is legendary to me not only for the grit and determination to win, but also because it ultimately kept him from competing in all but one Combine drill, IIRC. He'll do just fine in the real world.

start to realize college football and college in general is a rare, fun, exciting opportunity. Take advantage of those years...NFL aint going anywhere and its obvious its mostly full of butthole owners, not so great people and just slimy business.

One thing about Molk....when he was a Sophomore and OSU was kicking Michigan's ass down in the Shoe...late in the 3rd quarter, he got pissed and beat the shit out of an Ohio player.  I respected him for not taking crap from the Buckeyes when the rest of the Michigan team was so bad and was laying down.
