David Dawson Tweet and Good News with Pipkins
Ondre spells it with an "O" because he's OKAY!
Do we ever need football season to come around. If this comment doesn't exemplify that need, I don't know what does...
Great news about Pipkins!
But ugh alright I'll say it. Hasn't Dawson done this twice now with nothing actually happening?
Pretty sure he has done this when probably hinting at Green and for LT. He is close with Green, though, so maybe in the least it's a good sign there. Also, he could have been talking about Pee Wee being ok.
"Also, he could have been talking about Pee Wee being ok."
He said team 134, I don't see how this would only be relevant to team 134?
Derrick Green is visiting Georgia and Auburn this weekend I thought. So I doubt it's him. Also, I thought it was a new rule not to post twitter comments from recruits? Since we all seem to get crazy after those mystical tweets of theirs.
I figured one or the other wouldn't warrant it's own post. However, both combined IMO were post-worthy
Beat me to it by a second. Damn you Lil'Wolve
Glad he's ok. As for the Dawson tweet, I wonder if he heard from coaches/players that Pipkins is going to be OK. Might not have anything to do with recruiting at all.
Doubt it. Anything dealing with Team 134 is usually about the 2013 recruiting class.
He did say "Team 134"
Typically in these tweets, Team 134 refers to their recruiting class, so that's probably not it.
I was so quick in my pessimism that I failed to notice #TEAM134 in all caps. Although what is done cannot be undone, rest assured, honorable members of the board, that I will devote my life to making amends for my grievous error.
You are forgiven, neophyte.
he has you by about 7 months.
It would appear that way, but I've been around here since before we had these accounts. WolvinLA started on 6/30/2008, but then he died, I'm not sure how. That's why I now have WolvinLA2.
Great to hear about Pipkins. Wonder what exactly happened. Hope he gets well and then back to kicking some ass soon.
I don't want to get anyone too excited, buuuut I think this could mean Diggs is finally going blue...
I refuse to get duped by David Dawson again.
I have decided I will get excited EVERY TIME Dawson tells me too, that way when he is actually right I will already be appropriately primed.
It's not like Dawson is intentionally trying to "dupe" people.
I'm not saying he is, but do you know that he isn't? We don't know these kids, and they could just be screwing around.
How would you know? After the whole Florida camp fiasco I bet he has a pretty negative view of randos who follow him on Twitter.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me
Fool me twice.....strike three.
Michael Scott, FTW.
Off topic but I have a Michael Scott in my office...he gets plenty of grief.
That would be hilarious. I had a Phil Collins as a co worker once. Those jokes don't end either.
with a guy named Mike Hunt and he was always getting paged over the intercom.
No shit, I had a guy on my floor freshman year named Mike Hunt. When the student directories came out (the printed ones) people flocked to our floor to see if he really existed. 5th Van Tyne, for those curious.
I wonder if it's the same guy. Would he be about 28 right now?
I went to junior high with Annette Funicello (apparently a distant cousin of the mousketeer) and she yelled, "Shit!!" in science class when her beaker exploded.
...I had a HUGE crush on Annette F. What a Disney babe!
Pos rep for another former 5th Van Tyne resident.
Hell yeah. 5th Van Tyne 2009
Aka the Mustard Tiger
White nerdy guy named Michael Jordan that worked in the office I co-oped at, went along perfect with the ESPN commercial. He said that people are disappointed all the time when they finally meet him.
I have a guy on my street named Michael Jackson, a black guy. We call him the black Michael Jackson. No, not to his face.
But there is such a thing as good grief... just ask Charlie Brown.
I used to work for an IT company before it burned down. There was a guy there named Michael Bolton, yup, just like the singer. I couldn't stand the work though, got in to construction after that and I love it.
but what if he is, what if hes having a good laugh at our expense? it would be pretty funny to say something and then watch our reactions. what a prankster!
So glad to hear Ondre is doing well. Great news to start the weekend.
Outstanding news that he is up and walking around at practice... leads you to believe there's probably not much of an injury at all... You would think that if he even had a small injury, he would have at least been sent home to recover for the day/night...
Couldnt imagine this team in the next few years without Pee Wee...
And, with Dawson... I feel like he does this every other week... He'll get 100 Retweets, 297 favorites, and then nothing will come of it? Who knows
Good to hear Pipkins was at practice walking around. Anytime I hear spinal injury I almost always assume the worst. Thankfully it wasn't very serious.
this tweet seems awfully familiar
Yes, Dawson is losing his street cred. Or twitter cred for that matter.
Staying for his Senior year?
That would make Team 134 much better.
Tremendous tweeted that some Rivals analysts were going to give Laquon Treadwell five stars. Only helps us if he comes here.
Good, he deserves at least that many.
To be clear, I said they're hinting that. I've seen at least three Rivals analysts in the last week make some kind of inference on Treadwell moving up the rankings.
Considering Mike at Rivals is discussing possibly the #1 WR spot for him I think 5 star status is VERY possible
To hear that Pipkins is okay. Spinal injuries are pretty tough
David Dawson: #1 at trolling MGoBlog
Stop playing with my emotions! I can't help but get all giddy when he tweets these type of things. He has to come through eventually doesn't he?
And that's why he's my favorite.
I can't wait to see him on the football field.
(as long as his neck is 100% that is)
Glad to see he's doing well!!!!
Just curious... has anyone caught themselves yelling profanities at work while reading the blog? This wasnt my first time I've cursed the computer after reading a report from MGOBLOG, but I was at work when I read the first report he was injured. I was having lunch and I think I know I confused most and probably made others nervous
This kid is making a hard push to be my favorite player, post Denard.
Man this kid's got swag.
are known throughout the Universe for their strength!
#fergodsakes is brilliant, Pipkins is already becoming a favorite of mine.
Pipkins had me at the Hoke impression. I'm very happy he's ok. He's such a bull, its hard to imagine him vulnerable.
Pee Wee Optimus Prime is awesome. Somebody needs to give him the Matrix of Michigan Leadership.
And he hasn't played a single down. I wish him health and a long, storied career.
That's great to hear about Pipkins, and kudos to the coaching staff for being extra careful.
I broke my neck playing football in high school, paralyzed for a few hours. The doctors said I may never walk again, but thank the Lord I did. Neck injuries are nothing to mess with, and I'm glad that he is okay.
... Peewee, he probably did it for dramatic effect to magnify his comeback!
(Kidding, of course.)
Great news for Ondre.
Be well Sir and make sure you're ok before getting back to taking on the OL.
Great news, and I am very happy for Ondre.
Please take all the time you need to be sure you're healthy, and then some more just in case, before coming back.
Thank God for Pipkins. The Dawson tweet is fine and all, but the news on Ondre is by far the best of the day. We deserve a single "Pee Wee looks to be OK" thread uncluttered by potential recruiting news.
God Bless PeeWee
OH MAH GAWD! Dawson can't spell!!!
Dont read in to Dawsons tweets. He could be talking about Adidas bumblee..err techfit jerseys making the team better /s
Great to hear Ondre was back around the team. Probably a good morale boost for everyone for the weekend.
I don't buy into any of that tweet crap until I see a Hello: post. Seriously, how many times have guys like David Dawson or Dymonte Thomas put up tweets like that, only to result in nothing happening? They mean nothing.
On a better note, that's great to hear about Pip. I'm sure Hoke and Co. will be cautious with him, but sounds like he'll be back sooner rather than later.
Did I miss something? When did Dymonte do anything like this?
Great to hear to hear about Pip.
Also, getting tired ad the tweets about commits that do not happen.
He was right the first time. He was wrong about the BBQ so he's 1-1.
