He could even be more devious. He could "leak" that we're going to use alternate uniforms, just to raise outrage. During the outrage people will remember how much they love the regular uniforms. Upon realizing this people will go out and buy the classic jerseys, and DB will continue to pull in his sweet, sweet profit.

The hat comment was a red herring. I was able to wear that in for the ND game. But, I sit in the row in front of the handicap, or whatever you call it, row. So I can stand all game without blocking anyone's view.

It gets out that we will have alternate jerseys for The Game. We demonstrate outrage on mgoblog. There needs to be something like a daily "MGoRage" meter for these sorts of things, detailing the number of redundant thread, average upvotes / downvotes and number of reads. Somehow, all this could be combined into the "MGoRage Quotient" for particular subject. No, I've never thought about doing something like this.

No, Brandon said there were "no plans" at that time for any alternates. It wasn't a "we won't wear any alternate uniforms this year."

...Don't you know that Brandon likes to unveil everything? We've known about all of the other alternates ahead of time. Hell, we even has a press conference to show off the UTL uniforms and had RVB and Denard modeling them.

The Brandon bitching is getting to be too much. Everyone loves having all these varsity sports -- the funding has to come from somewhere and they can't just break even either. Soccer and LAX are on the front of the board -- does anyone have any better ideas on how to fund them?
