Darius Morris Special

BTN just did a Special on Darius Morris focusing on his relationship with high school friend with a neurodegenerative disease. Very heartwarming to hear Darius's story and how he plays for his friend who could not any more, and unfortunately passed away a month ago.

Always great to see players of great character coming to Ann Arbor

Okay so I've had a pretty tough weekend and am probably a little emotional, but this special made me start bawling on my couch.  Darius is my favorite player and a great athlete, but it's remarkable how much of an amazing person he is, too.

The Journey is a pretty awesome feature on BTN.

You'll be better and you'll be smarter and more grown-up and a better daughter. . .

is one the finest sports programs out there.  It's one of the few programs that I feel compelled to watch even if there aren't any Michigan teams featured.

Relieving the UW loss was brutal for me, until they showed Morris after the game, in the hall and at his locker.  I felt selfish after that.  Talk about pain at feeling responsible for missing those free throws...

Class kid.  Class family.  Darius Morris is going to be successful in whatever he does.
