Dantonio shows a little class, credits Denard
I spent part of the afternoon speculating that Dantonio's anger management specialist must be a fellow UM alumni... gotta appreciate this a little (just a little...)

One article that came out earlier in the week that I found intriguing was the one linked above. Mark Dantonio actually complimented Hoke for how he handles this rivalry, which I thought was an interesting thing for him to say and showed some admittedly unexpected class as well. What he was referring to, of course, was how Dantonio has, at times, let his mouth run and his emotions get the better of him, and he said he admired Hoke's composure. Dantonio didn't apologize for his approach to the game itself, which I wouldn't expect from him, but it does show you that he's aware.

...when the coach on the other sideline is hugging YOUR players and telling them how proud he is of the way they played. When the other coach is class. Sometimes you just have to swallow you d'bagness and chalk up your loss.

Anyone seen a post-game interview or press conference of Dantonio? I searched MSU's website but haven't seen anything. I'd like to hear what he had to say.

Dantonio hates Michigan, but I think he finds it hard to hate Hoke. Hoke is always respectful and professional, and never fuels the rivalries. He's so good at taking the high road that his peers have trouble hating the program he represents. Even Dantonio.
