the silliness of the premise of the article aside, the Taubman reference is disturbingly true. As Ken (Enron) Skilling is proving at this very moment, money can apparently cure many venal if not mortal sins.
I wasn't alive for the Fab Five, so I do not have their obsession. I want to like Chris Webber, but Michigan just shouldn't associate with him. What he did to the university was disgraceful and caused Michigan's only real scandal. I just can't forgive him.
