id have to agree on the fact that we need to start beating them.. at least every other year.. if they start another winning streak against us then we might as well start looking for a new coach in a few years..  

 

Hopefully we win next year, but im not counting on it

Ethics?  Facilities?  Average high school rating of players on the roster?  $ revenues?  Quality of coaching staff?  At best, your use of the term "better" is highly subjective.

I question your understanding of the term 'subjective.' We only reach objectivity through brutal abstraction, and relevant (i.e, recent) wins is the only abstraction worth looking at. Your definition is very subjective in my opinion, which is itself, of course, subjective.

Oh seriously Magnus? I usually defend your crazy posts, but your negativity went too far this time. How is their program better than ours? Because they had a soft schedule this year and we didn't? They aren't recruiting better than us. So what is it?

Don't say because they went 12-0. If we miss ND and Bama (like they did) and had them and Neb at home, we may have been 12-0 too.

If wins is your only criteria, then yes a program that is SEC dirty is a better program than ours.

If our OC doesn't put his tail between his legs, we win in Columbus this year.  We were the better team in the first half, and the score bore that out.  Then there's two in a row on our side, and it's a lot more difficult to say that OSU is unequivocally in better shape.

And, as WolvInLA points out, they aren't beating us in recruiting the past couple of years.  And while the Urban/Herman tandem will likely put forth a more coherent offensive philosophy than Borges, I'd take Mattison and co. over their defensive staff. 

I don't think there's a gap any more.  We'll see who's right in the next couple of years.

Of a Michigan fan as anyone, their program is better than ours right now because they have kicked our ass 7/8 years or whatever, end of story. I couldn't give two shits on facilities, good facilities don't mean shot, wins and losses do and we have lost more than them the last 7-8 years. I believe this rivalry is going to start getting more intense again with us trading wins with them.

Those are a lot of "what ifs". This post is making you look like a blind homer. OSU has been better since they fired Cooper and hired Tressel. I don't care who you play, 12-0 is hard to accomplish.
