This is what I love about Izzo. He is regarded as one of the greatest coaches of all time, yet he displays so much public butthurt any chance he gets.

I don't want Izzo to ever leave MSU. We could lose 10 consecutive games to them. The butthurt he would display after they finally lose makes it all worth it.

Um, he's been to 7 final fours in 18 years and has basically dominated the rivalry the past 20+ years. It would be in our best interest for him to leave. Very spartanesque take to rather enjoy the off court antics vs results on the floor. But to each their own I guess.

This is akin to a spartan wanting harbaugh around forever because he climbs trees and stays the night while recruiting while also kicking MSU's ass every fall.

My congratulations, you've just come up with the MSU's basketball's motto, comparable to "disrespekt" for it's football team.  It is factual, terse, faintly scatological while still being witty, and perfectly captures the mind set of MSU basketball.

As an attorney, I recommend you immediately copywrite "public butthurt" before Coack Fleck, Western Michigan and Minnesota get involved.

Unprofessional and petty by both parties, but it's kind of funny to see where Izzo's head is at these days. Will he try to play the disrespekt card now? Normally I'd have no problem with a coach calling out an Espn hack, but this is a whiny pot meet whiny kettle.

It's ESPN. They became dead to me in the early morning hours after Michigan won the Rose Bowl after the '97 season. The whole studio broke out in thunderous cheers when they announced, live, that Nebraska had passed Michigan in the voting for #1 in their poll.

So, Dakich can take their money and be whoever he wants to be. If he wants to taunt Izzo, terrific. I expect no less from ESPN, plus it seems to have really gotten Izzo's goat.

God Izzo is a whiny bitch. "Calling us whiny is unprofessional. Don't worry about me stomping around like a troll on the sidelines and complaining every chance I get."

Some people never learn.  Don't turn a one-day story into a two-day (or longer) story.  Sometimes it is just better to leave it alone and let it die.
