Daily Reminder - Heisman Vote
Once again, Nissan is sponsoring this year's heisman and, by contract, receives one official heisman vote. Nissan in turn is opening its vote to the public, and whichever player receives the most votes will earn Nissan's official heisman vote. It's a daily vote, so some people (like me) require a reminder from time to time.
The post a couple days ago was pretty effective -- Denard jumped from 12% of the vote to 21% in a few hours -- so I will try to keep up the occasional reminder. If there's one vote he should be able to secure it's this one, given the breadth of the fanbase, the readership of the largest college sports blog on the interweb, and the benefit of alumni who are largely capable of operating a computer.

Keep doing this, it's absurd how much Peterson is winning by, no matter how athletic he is.
Speaking of, I was watching the Big Ten and Beyond show on BTN last night and some idiot had Denard 3rd behind Kellen Moore and Peterson, and also said Peterson could run a 4.2 in the sand.... :-/

Denard is getting closer, but he's still quite a ways behind. He does now have 21% of the overall vote, but Patterson has 40%.

I'd like to think we're some of the most intelligent college football fans in the nation, so let's call Patrick Peterson by the correct name...
Nonetheless, I just voted for dilithium.

Done, these will become daily reminders until a mod requests otherwise. I did not post yesterday and Denard's total remained static; as long as they're making a difference, I have no problem tossing out the reminder.

Yesterday, Denard was 17,000 behind. Now, under 14,000. Keep it up!

Christian Ponder has more votes than LaMichael James. Wow.

I have performed my daily civic duty. Thanks again for the reminder. I'll +1 these posts every time.

I'm shocked that that many LSU fans have computers...and know how to use them...and have electricity...I'll stop now.
I'm fine with this becoming a daily ritual, BTW. Keep it up.
