Been doing this for a week now. Lets get over the top of Penn State. Really painless and I haven't gotten any annoying emails as a result of signing up. We all know our students could use the scholarship money.

... do what you want, I even clicked away last night.

I am just messing around, my god such sanctimony!  From someone who "channels" Bo for his username!!

I would love to hear Bo talk about people (me included...) who post on the Interweb, and never played a down in their lives.  Negging?  Can you imagine what he would think about negging?

My wild-ass hunch is that he would think a lot of this is BS and Michigan Men write Michigan checks.  That said, he'd likely want to win the Bobblethon; particularly beating Team JoPa.

Anyhow, peace out, go for it, I'll stand down for the remaining 19 updates.

Michigan Men write Michigan checks.

Somehow, I don't think that is exactly what Bo would say. You do know that he coached every year with a one-year arrangement, right? He wasn't exactly "Those Who Can Write Big Checks Will Be Champions."

And, as for my name, it is exactly why I picked it. Bo. Twice. No apologies.

And thanks for standing down from ridiculing the bobblethon any more. You are clearly a Michigan Man.

PS. For those of you who do care, we just took over the #1 spot from PSU and lead in the bobblethon. Thank you (sincerely) to everyone who has helped.

You know that during your tenure as president of UM (1871–1909):

...the faculty size grew from 35 to about 400; the student body from 1100 to over 5000; the annual budget from $104,000 to over $1,000,000.

So the Bobblethon gets you 10% of your 1871 budget.

(Note to Bobblethon participants: the notion of "tapping" Charles Woodson is not easy for me; not that there is anything wrong with that...)

I know I have constantly been pushing the $10,000 in scholarship money, but silently I want this as much or more for Woodson. He came from Ohio. He was key to us winning our first NC in 50 years. Ask Lloyd what he thinks of Woodson and what you will get is a pause and a stare, while he tries to figure out if you are an idiot or if he should respond.

Woodson was (IMO) the best UofM player I have ever seen play. He is a total class guy. He has been making major personal contributions to the Medical School (and who knows what he does privately). I think winning would matter to him. If we are really, really lucky, maybe someday he will be our AD or football HC.
