Cullen Christian: Starting CB For Army Game

Submitted by Smitty D on
In the defensive backfield, a pair of five-star safeties will get the starting nod in Latwan Anderson and Keenan Allen while the cornerbacks will be Cullen Christian and Christian Bryant to start. Pretty impressive for CC. http://www.michigan.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1037129 Side note: Sean Parker is starting at SS for the west team

Christian is like Turner from last year's game.. only next season he'll probably have to actually start and not redshirt.

Excited to see Cullen starting hopefully he can contribute early for Michigan and it would be awesome if he could sway Latwan Michigan's way.

Cullen actually makes it in on time and isn't out of shape. No experience or not it would be nice to actually have some competition and viable backups. Too bad the Under Armour game didn't determine starters based on merit or we may have actually seen something worthwhile out of DG.

How is Dior Mathis on the West Team when he is located further east than Christian Bryant, who's on the East Team? I guess it doesn't really matter, I was just confused. P.S. Big congrats to Cullen! I'm excited to watch him this Saturday.

Wow, those rosters are weird. There are a couple west coast kids on the east roster, and there's a kid from Michigan on the west roster. The east/west split in the Michigan high school football all-star game seems odd because east is Detroit and suburbs while west is the rest of the state, but it makes sense because the majority of the state's population is in the Detroit area. But those Army All-American rosters seem almost random at times.

The same comment I kept seeing about him in practice was that it became really boring whenever he was on the field because he would blanket the receiver he was on. Not surprised he is going to start.
