Scout has confirmed with Cullen's father that Cullen will not be visiting OSU this weekend. Apparently Ohio State coaches called on Thursday and asked Cullen to postpone the trip and his decision. Carl, Cullens dad, was shocked by this. Cullen said that he will have a decision by the 24th of November.
Cullen Christian Not Going to Visit OSU
It was a few pages back, easy to miss.
What team would ask the kid to postpone his visit, even if he has always been a lean to another school?
That does sound insanse. Today is OSU's last home game. Why would they want his visit to be in the offseason?
It seems like they're giving up on him. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me.
They asked him to postpone his decision, too. It sounds like they knew he wasn't going to come if he made his decision in a week, and they didn't want to waste their time. If he was willing to put off his decision, maybe they'd have a shot. But no go. Good news, regardless.
Well it comes down to they want bigger fish ... that is all ... the longer he waits the longer they can hold him off to see if they get the bigger fish.
It'll be good that OSU (sorta) snubbed him. The more our players dislike them, the better.
Assuming this is a good thing? OSU looking at someone else?
I would say yes.
Is WVa still in the mix for CC?
