Cullen Christian Interview
Not a lot of new info but a nice quote saying that M is still #1 "Yeah, Michigan is No. 1, but I probably won't make my decision until sometime during the season. I don't know how close I am to pulling the trigger."

the interesting soundbite from this interview is that Christian is going to grudgingly play S this year. But, it sure sounds like he prefers CB.

Good to hear, especially after the Grimes package deal talk.

We'd like both Grimes and CC. Also, CC isn't a package deal with Ifill, but taking both increases our chances with either. Especially b/c we want both.

I think we are out in front by a very big margin. This guy is a very good player, I think he is ranked 60th overall by Rivals.

Get your facts right. He's 61 now with the recent rerank. (Oviously this is sarcasm)

Obviously we are in very good position. But just a couple weeks ago he planned to announce around the beginning of the season. If we don't get him than that's not good. And I know we have Avery and Talbott, but their level isn't even close to his.

Christian is on a different level in regards to the rankings, not necessarily skill. Avery has not played much CB, and is slated as a "steal" in Ohio since he's flying relatively under the radar. Keep in mind Teric Jones, a 3-star converted RB, is apparently on-par with 5-star CB JT Turner according to the guys at GBMW. Avery is a hell of an athlete, so don't count him out.

Turner also missed a couple days of practice and was late getting into pads; Jones has been playing cornerback and going through the drills since the first day of camp.

He will be a corner at the Next level. I also think that Him and Ifill will be Blue by the middle of October. Also getting him some Safety experience will help him to understand the overall Defense concept. This can't hurt going into next year.
