Cullen Christian

Does anyone know anything new about him. I know he has Michigan as the leader but does anyone know when he will commit?

...he said he'll announce near the start of the season. He did also say that he wants to take a couple official visits. In a related note, his teammate, Brandon Ifill, is supposed to be on campus at Michigan this week.

a cornerback that has consistently shot up the rankings. Would be a really nice pick up. High 4* on rivals I think he is the NO.6 corner overall. Would be nice if we could pick him and ifill up.

Cullen Christian . . . thats all you've got? How hard is it to type 1. Any Cullen Christian news? 2. Any C. Christian news? 3. Any Cullen C. news? 4. Cullen C. news? 5. C. Christian news? 6. " " ? 7. Cullen C. ? 8.CC? I don't know if you have important news on CC, or are looking for news on CC (as if someone would keep it to themselves). Maybe you know he's committed, maybe you know he died in a fiery crash, I CAN"T TELL FROM YOUR LAME HEADLINE. I never thought of myself as a member of the headline police but this is ridiculous.

This is certainly not a grammar issue. Go to the MGoBoard link at the top and ready the "sticky" that says "informative headers" or something like that. There is a lot of info on this site, and it's important that it's organized in a logical way. And I don't know who you meant by "you guys ruin this website" since it was the creator Himself who asked for the informative thread titles. Take it up with Him.

Can we create our own religious community revolving around Brian and our MGoPoints? I like the sound of MGoBlogafarians. Since touched by his UFR-appendage, I've only found solace and spiritual relief in the hallowed halls of the MGoBoard. Long may Brian reign, RAmen.

While your beef with grammar nit-pickery isn't necessarily germane to this thread, I agree w/ the general sentiment of your post. *Sometimes* watching people pile on after someone makes a faux pas - whether that faux pas be grammar related or not - is funny, but it's getting old, and it seems like that's what this board has been reduced to as of late. The signal to noise ratio is very low. If you want to avoid this, just read the first few posts of a thread, like I do. Pretty much anything substantial that can be said on a topic at this point is said within the first few posts, and after that, those who have nothing better to do than engage in internet arguments about grammar, about how the post somehow is an affront to the MGoBoard ethos, or about whatever, have found something to latch onto and begin the usual, predictable, tangental banter that makes 90% of the threads here look the same.

When we learn news, we post it. So if you're a frequent reader and you haven't seen anything posted recently, that's because there's nothing new. If you're an infrequent reader, there's a search bar up top. If you type in "Cullen Christian" you can find out everything we know.

We are a bunch of guys "looking for news", but we want to keep that news somewhat organized. If everyone who had anything to say about Cullen started a thread titled "Cullen Christian", how the fuck would you have any idea which thread was which? If one contained particularly useful info, but all the others were "ZOMG you guys are lame", or "any news?", it would all be pretty useless, don't you think? So we ask for informative headlines. And nobody said anything about proper english or grammar here, except you.

Please don't leave...we are a welcoming bunch, there are just some rules that make it easier for everyone, and since you are new we thought you should know them. It's constructive criticism, it's important for life. Something I would recommend is to use the search tool. Type in a recruits name and you can see the recent posts about him. That will give you the up to date info that the board has. I promise there is no one who has info about him, but was keeping it secret until you asked by creating a new forum topic.

Hey, you spelled "definitely" wrong, could have used a comma after news, and u is not an accepted english word. Oh, you also forgot a period. my god . . . he's right.

The grammar thing gets a little overbearing sometimes, but why is the pressure always on those of us who passed 9th grade English to put up with people who can't fucking write coherently? Seriously, why can't the illiterates step up and improve their writing? Why do we have to dumb ourselves down to their level to spare their precious feelings? It's not that god damn hard to write a semi-grammatically correct sentence. Nobody is going to kill you over your use of a semi-colon or something. It is really, really, really, really not that hard to write kinda correctly when you are writing to communicate. If someone walks up to you in a bar and can barely form a sentence are you going to talk to them? No. Why should I read what you have to write if you can't write it in a manner that doesn't make me want to burn my eyes with the fiery oils of Hell?

My spell check button happens to be attached to my spine. It just takes practice. People giving you crap here about spelling, etc. is an easy way to learn; it's certainly better than having your boss teach you. That's "grammar" by the way.
