Crystal Ball Movement for Jarrett Patterson to Michigan

Submitted by GoBlueInAlabama on
Ace and Brandon Justice put in Crystal Balls for J. Patterson to Michigan. This would be a very nice pick up if does end up going Blue. Let's hope to see Sam join the Patterson to Michigan party. On the flip side, Ace put in CB's for Chase to TCU and Barrett to Georgia Tech.

Interesting to see Barrett to GT. Seems like the staff pushed for him hard but then probably cooled off? Likely a lack of space or an academic thing?

I would take all the OTs I could get at this point.

playing QB at Flexbone offense is a lot harder than most people realize. They make 3-4 decisions at any given moment in one play. Read defense, hand off for dive, keep it, pitch it to the A-Back, etc. That's why playing QB at Flexbone requires QBs to make great decisions.

Remember how Michigan don't do a lot of true zone read with Denard at QB. Denard can't make correct reads for the most part.

But their history prior to Paul Johnson's arrival doesn't really matter considering they didn't used to run triple-option offense. Triple-option QBs in general don't go pro at QB though, so if he wants to play QB at GT in college he's basically saying he doesn't care about currently about playing in the NFL, at least as a QB

Petite Frere and Patterson to me would put the finishing touch on setting up our OL depth for the years to come when combined with the depth chart we have now. To think OL could actually become a strength. I would be interested to see where the class ranked if we pulled all four of those players. We may have some underwhelmed brethren needing to eat a lemon or issue a retraction.

I'm assuming we would be out of it for Petit-Frere if Patterson commits? 4 offensive tackles would be too many in this class unless we are confident at least 1 can move inside.
