Very true but..... The way Golden is pushing for him and all the Ft Meyers papers have taken to story bout local not stays home gonna be very hard to keep him....especially with Watkins leaning hard towards Canes.....

That's because he recruits 3 and low 4 star players and makes them feel like they are all 5 stars (not that I put a lot of stock in the whole evaluation process), of course they're gonna love him and have faith in him. Plus by all accounts he is a really nice guy.

This sucks. I sure hope this doesn't happen to most of our recruits. I know RR is a good guy, but they should be coming to UM because of who we are.

Its been awhile since those that stay have been champions on the football field. Just like the belief that U of M is a top flight coaching destination. We have not been an elite program for years and the rest of college football realizes that. If you don't, all you need to do is look at all the top flight coaches lining up to take over the job. That would be none.
I realize that is a Bo quote and I loved Bo. Do you honestly believe Bo would want a coach fired in three years? Ask Illinois. Do you think if Bo was still alive he would allow a former player/alumnus to coach the team after he trashed the program and university over academics? IMHO Hell no he wouldn't!

The January 7 recruiting weekend has been cancelled. Lamar Dawson has cancelled his visit, Darian Cooper has officially dropped us, Tom VH said Dallas was opening up his recruitment instead he decommited which is a big difference, Jake Fisher may take visits now, Jack Miller being pushed by Miami.
This Saturday should be interesting at the AA game. My guess is no Dee, no Lyons, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on Frost. That leaves two visit weekends left. DB better get something lined up soon.
Denard I wish you the best where ever you end up. Thanks for providing a lot of excitement this year and I hope you stay here, but understand if you leave. You've been a class act and a great representative of the University of Michigan.

Absolutely right, it's a recruiting disaster. My hope is we get someone by Sat to call Lyons and Frost and save those guys. I know Lyons cares about academics, so maybe there is still a chance.
DB may have to start making some calls.
