Thought this was another "Michigan dog name" thread.
Dude has been pegged as the next pass rushing terror in New England for two years now. It's a damn shame he may never get to prove it.
Really bad luck for Crable and Marlin Jackson. I expected them both to be solid NFL players but the injury bug has bit them in the ass repeatedly.
Marlin WAS a solid player in the league until the injury bug bit him, while Crable can't seem to even get started.
I guess Crable never even saw the field. Last thing I read said he failed his physical. He could be welcomed back if things change though.
As opposed to the "reserve" PUP list. It allows the team more flexibility in how they handle the player's return, but you can't go on the list after camp starts. It's basically saying Welker and Crable have pre-existing conditions. As far as I know, it doesn't mean anything with regard to their actual rehab progress. It's just a precaution in case they have a setback -- it doesn't mean they have already had a setback.
As bluetex has already mentioned, Crable was released today (July 29), so no longer on the team, not to mention the PUP list.
