Cowboy Classic Tickets update

Submitted by Lionsfan on

No official confirmation, but WTKA said this morning that all of the tickets in the initial allotment for the Cowboy Classic have been sold out. If it's true it really sucks, normal season ticket holders and the Public never even got a chance to buy any. Hopefully the school can get more or something

I'm a member of the UM Club of Dallas, a season ticket holder, and I fricking live 30 mins from the stadium and I missed out on tickets as well.   The good news is - I can buy shitty seats on StubHub for about a grand...lol

If you are an alumni, you should of gotten the email for alumni in Texas giving us a presale last week.  They only would of forced you to buy tailgate tickets for an extra $50 on top of ticket prices.

The last two bowl games they allowed you to pick up student tickets at the Michigan Ticket Office before everyone left for break. Once at the stadium, you didn't have to show any id. This is different than they do for other postseason events such as hockey. If you buy hockey regional tickets or frozen four tickets as a student, you have to show MCard at the game site.

Blah. I live in TX and have been looking forward to this game since it was announced.  I really hope I can get tickets but I have to wait for general public sales... :(

I am a season ticket holder with priority points that are not active.  When I log into my account and try to purchase tickets it does not allow me.  On Feb. 9th when tickets are made available for someone in my situation I assume when I log on that there will be a active link I can click on to purchase tickets.... Right?

I am just wondering on Feb 9th when I am able to purchase tickets will there be a new link for me to click on to purchase tickets, because as of right now when I log on to my account and go to purchase tickets it reroutes me to the ticket information(the press release)

Does anyone have any info on where to stay for this game (ie Dallas vs. Arlington or perhaps another nearby city)?  Which city would be better to stay in and why?

Thanks.

We'd probably get in on Thursday and hang around town, go to some place cool to eat, drink and the girls could go do their own thing.  So, I'd like to know which city would be the best to spend a few days in, in addition to going to the game.  The group would be mostly in their late 20s early 30s.  The girls would not be going to the game, so they would want somewhere to go for a good 4 hours at least.

Well I'm over in Dallas so I do not know what the drinking situation is over in Arlington but I would recommend staying in Dallas.  Theres more things to do/more restaurants etc.

There's a big bar area called uptown in Dallas that is just barely north of downtown (figures right?) that is located on McKinney Ave.  There's lots of bars and the crowd is some SMU students/ and lots of young professionals in their 20's.

As for other things to do, I'm not too sure.  I spent a good chunk of last labor day weekend at my apartment pool and grilling.  There happens to be a Six Flags like half a mile from Cowboy Stadium if they want to come with to Arlington.

I have 19 points that I recieved for being a season ticket holder for consecutive years since 1992.  I can only activate them if I make a donation of aleast $100.  If I donate now it won't be applied til next year and will do me no good for purchase of tickets for cowboy classic.  Feb 9th is my purchase day.  I am just wondering for you that have bought tickets if a link will be made availble for me on that day to purchase tickets when I log in, because right now there is not one.

you should be able to click on the "Cowboy Classic" link, which I think you can get to by clicking "Buy Tickets" and then "Football Tickets."

You need to be signed in first, though, or the link won't work.
