7 days until Brandin and the Wolverine defense shut down the Hokies and get UM its first BCS win since 2000!

Go blue!
My favorite Michigan #7 was another guy from a bit further back.....
Henson....not Hensen
Beat OSU three straight times, twice in Columbus....
Won my favorite UM vs OSU game 22-0 without completing a pass!
Another great #7:
Chris Floyd - one of our greatest fullbacks ever. A fantastic blocker and pretty good runner, too.
a very good feeling about this game. I was still skeptical going into both the Nebraska and Ohio game, but for whatever reason I just feel calm and confident that team 132 will find a way. GO BLUE
I feel the exact same and its strange feeling to me now.
This team has the feel of old Michigan, where you just expect to win every game
Michigan has such a strong record against the ACC. I also feel playing VTech is a little easier to get pumed up for than, say Kstate or huston.
just got lower bowl tix for $49! CANT WAIT!
Where did you get those? I am 90% sure I am going to the game but I am gonna have to get them last second. Anyone think getting them at the stadium won't be ridiculously expensive?
It's on the 30 yard email if interested [email protected] it's on the michigan sideline

back into Maize and Blue focus. Between Christmas shopping, the actual holiday, as well as the rise to somethingness of the DETROIT LIONS, I've put our Wolverines on the back burner. Time to get them back onto a front burner.
Blasphemy
That's kinda strong, care to specify? Are you taking 'The team, the team, the team' to extremes, do you follow someone else in the NFC North, or are you down on the commercialization of Christmas like Pope Benedict XVI?
I'd assume it was meant for the "Wolverines on the back burner" comment. There's nothing extreme about having your priorities straight. Seriously? Mentioning an NFL team as a contributing factor? Football's played on Saturdays (with a sprinkle of Thur and Fri and with an exception for bowl games). Anything else is just a hollow distraction.
Just pulling your chain, it was the burner comment though.
There are actually 8 days until the Sugar Bowl. January 3, 2012.
Indeed there are.
For those travelling to NOLA, Jan.1-3 will blend together and should be considered one day.
Sorry, I'm moving to Columbus (Ugh) on the second, and start work on the third, got the two days mixed up.
A canary in the coal mine if you will.
Living around Columbus has a negative impact on the brain's functioning.
Uh.......I......Uh............live.......in..............Uh...........
Columbus.......already....Go.......Blue...........!
You have plenty of bretheren here.....
Where will they be watching the game in Ann Arbor?
Anyone know when kickoff time is?
ESPN says 8:30.
The Sugar Bowl website says 7:30
7:30 Central Time, 8:30 Eastern, 1:30 GMT
I'm toitaly flying to Greenwich and watching the game 7 hours before evrybody else.
Then I'll bet all you suckers on who wins, and Jamiemac will be my bitch.
830 ET, 730 CT
THERE ARE? Doing so will make me scream like a little girl meeting justin beiber
8 Days until the game, not 7. Can't wait though!
and that's win his first bowl game as Michigan's HC. Since Schembechler came to town, our bowl record is a not-so-sparkling 15-21.
True, but that record is dragged down by an 0-7 mark in the 1970s. Since 1980 we're treading water (15-14).
Gary Moeller did win his first bowl (the 35-3 destruction of Ole Miss).
Gotta put in a word for my main man Mo.
Technically, the first bowl he coached was the 1988 Hall of Fame Bowl, while Bo was recovering from heart bypass surgery. Of course, he won that one, too (28-24 over 'Bama).
I will be at the Outback bowl with my bright maize shoelace shirt in the middle of MSU alumni seating, holding a sign that reads "My Game isTomorow!"
But this is a bit lame in my view. There was a Sparty fan at the Ohio game, dressed in green. He was walking around and looking around, just waiting (and hoping) for someone to say something. Everyone ignored him, without saying a word. Michigan-Ohio is so much more important than Sparty that it merited absolutely no response.
Wear Georgia colors and taunt as needed, but there's no reason to wear maize. M doesn't have anything to do with that game.
this is like wearing Ohio colors to a Michigan/MSU. Michigan fans would definitely give that guy crap. Blue should wear his Maize at the Outback.
It sounds funny to me. Good way to get on TV too.
Makes it seems like they matter more that you go to their game.
At the very least, change the sign to "I'd rather be in New Orleans." good double meaning there.
Michigan-Ohio is always in play. At the Gator Bowl last year there was an Ohio fan cheering for Miss St. I can respect that. Sparty is an important rival in the sense that we need to dominate them. But wearing a jersey and taunting at their bowl game elevates their importance beyond their place in the CFB hierarchy.
I got a good deal on tickets from E bay, I am from Toledo and need to get ride of some when i get to New Orleans. Would love for Michigan fan to have them!
Can you email me about those tickets, i live in alabama and am planning on buying some online before heading down, however i would like to help out a M fan, send me an email with how much and where [email protected]
