Nice hit by Hawthorne at the end!
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:17 AM ^
Except he didn't wrap up.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:31 AM ^
Yeah, but I bet Hoke "heard" it and that's all I need.
August 23rd, 2012 at 9:12 AM ^
felt it....
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:41 AM ^
...and that's part of the reason why he got benched last year.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:17 AM ^
Who's this heavily Michigan accented non-Doug Karsch guy? I need my daily "besta luck!"
August 23rd, 2012 at 12:23 PM ^
Did his mom not sign his permission slip?
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:35 AM ^
days until Michigan kicks off its season at Jerry World.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:37 AM ^
Odoms will always be one of my favorites.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:34 AM ^
Anyone notice Joey Burzinsky stand up Pipkins at 1:03 ??
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:38 AM ^
I mostly just noticed that Pipkins was in full pads playing football. Even though we already knew that, it's still good to see.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:41 AM ^
Of course that is great. Even though we learned the hospital trip was precautionary its still very good to know that nothing serious happened to a good young man whos career did not even start yet.. however that was still a great play by Burzinsky have to be happy for a no offer walk on who worked hard enough to battle for a starting spot on a top 10 team
August 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 PM ^
that the confrontation seemed to force Pipkins' neck back. Made me nervous. But since it didn't seem to bother Pipkins, I guess we should actually feel good about it.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:39 AM ^
At the 3:00 minute mark, the snap count is almost immediately after the head raises. I hope that changes or get ready for the bull rushes.
August 23rd, 2012 at 8:53 AM ^
That too...seems like we always have a hard time with that. Seems so simple to mix it up, hopefully that gets fixed....
August 23rd, 2012 at 10:53 AM ^
It seemed like they did that alllll the time last year too. I was hoping they would figure it out because it is so easy for teams to just pull their ears back and rush in when they know when the ball is going to be snapped. Gotta learn to mix it up.
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:05 AM ^
Those were the 2s though, i.e., not Ricky and Denard.
August 23rd, 2012 at 9:13 AM ^
Looks and acts like a completely transformed human being.
August 23rd, 2012 at 9:25 AM ^
Ferris Beuller's Day Off is definitely a distraction. I can't turn the channel when it's on.
August 23rd, 2012 at 9:43 AM ^
Wow, Brady sure does sweat a lot. I hope this is the last time to ever see the Wolverines at Ford Field(Little Ceasars Bowl).
August 23rd, 2012 at 10:57 AM ^
that he wants his practices closed, but if you are trying to practice with distractions you need to make it a public practic and let "real people" cheer and actually distract the players. How else are you going to get a game type atmosphere? Not playing videos on the scoreboard, that's for sure. I understand they practiced in a different facility, but it seems silly to me to expect distractions when it's only the team at Ford Field.
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:04 AM ^
I'm sure they weighed the pros and cons of making it an open practice, and decided they would benefit more by keeping Alabama and our other opponents in the dark.
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:41 AM ^
Brady Hoke is 11-2 with a BCS bowl win here at Michigan. I'm going to go out on a limb and trust him and his judgment.
August 23rd, 2012 at 12:11 PM ^
Hey Saban, nice try but you can always resort to hiding out in the bushes like they did in Little Giants.
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:16 AM ^
Thomas Gordon expects at least like 200 people at Jerry World.
August 23rd, 2012 at 1:14 PM ^
Heh, I was thinking the same thing.
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:18 AM ^
I'm excited to see Cam Gordon out there at SAM this season. I bet he gets alot of playing time now that he's healthy when they put Ryan at the line. He should be great against spread teams like Ohio and NW .
August 23rd, 2012 at 12:05 PM ^
that Howe jersey is that it was in fact a jersey Gordie Howe himself wore for many many games.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/arash_markazi/05/15/gordie.howe/index.html
And now to bring this back on topic. Gordie Howe played for the RedWings a professional sports team in the city of Detroit, The same city where the Lions play, whose facility was just made available to our Michigan Wolverines.
Ha, I pulled it off in only two degress of separation. Suck it Kevin Bacon!
August 23rd, 2012 at 11:35 AM ^
Willie Henry looks every bit of 300 lbs., nice to have another big boy marinating for next year. Also like seeing RJS out there with physicalness
August 23rd, 2012 at 1:45 PM ^
There was another example of them running the pop pass. They clearly did not take advantage of the big cushions that corners were giving them last year. Al was completely against it during the season and would not field any questions about it. I'm pretty sure after this season he watched tape and realized what a big mistake it was not to run it.
