Countdown to Kickoff - Day 8: Henriette The Otter of Énergie and Jerry Montgomery

Submitted by Thorin on

Unlike her brother, Henri, Henriette, the otter of énergie, is so excited about the return of The Fort that she can't stop dancing.

Programming note:

We missed the first broadcast of FS-Detroit's Michigan preview but we should get the noon replay and the BTN preview tonight. I'll post them here as soon as they are up on YouTube.

I like Henriette, but I find her slightly less attractive than Hyuna.

Also, hearing Jerry talk about moving linebackers to 3-tech at previous stops makes me feel a little better about Jibreel Black.

Sorry to thread jack, Thorin, but I feel this is something everyone would be interested in reading, and I don't have enough points to start a new topic (someone care to help me out?).  Tom Dienhart from the Big Ten Network has an article about his thoughts on UM's practice yesterday.  The most interesting info is a quote from Jerry Montgomery that as of now the starting DL would be Black, Roh, Campbell, and Washington.  Apparently all that talk about Will Campbell at the 3-tech wasn't just for depth purposes.  Also interesting is Hoke thinks there will be 12 freshman that play this season (Kalis, Braden on the o-line; receivers Amara Darboh and Jehu Chesson; d-lineman Ondre Pipkins; linebacker Joe Bolden; safety Jarrod Wilson; tight ends A.J. Williams and Devin Funchess).

Or realize how ridiculous it sounds to actually expect everyone to look at every post instead of just checking thread subjects.

I don't care if someone takes and idea and upgrades it. Just part of the fun. But it just highlights how petty your posts in this thread have been.

Your post's title yesterday FAILED. The title only highlighted the Countess interview and the other link wasnt given its due and missed. Logan did a nice job highlighting the link and summarizing key points. Insulting her for covering your fail is uncalled for.

Logan, perhaps you could rewrite this original post too. It would surely be much better that the rambling trip through the two unrelated pieces forced on us before the interview link.

This is who I came up with:  Walter Cross, Jason Avant, Jonas Mouton, Nick Sheridan, Terrance robinson, JT Floyd, Dwayne Ware, Doug Mallory, Trevor Pryce.

Avant was definitely my favorite of the bunch.  Too bad Pryce transferred he was a monster when we recruited him and had a great NFL career.

missing Chris Howard, RB from the 1997 Championship team is a considerable whiff.  In fairness, I would have missed a couple of yours.

Chris Howard and Chris Floyd may not have been flashy, but damned solid in that backfield.  So much talent on that team...I feel like they never got enough credit.  Brian always seemed to hit Howard in perfect stride on the screen passes.
