I'm ready for FOOTBAw
Hoke is sporting a goat. How is this not breaking news? Bama beard to combat bama bangs?
Is it really sporting when he probably just forgot to shave this morning?
Look at that arm Coach
I half expected him to throw a block after "snapping" the ball on that drill. Hoke still looks the part of a linemen
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I don't think Coach Hoke played any QB in his football career. I know, I know, risky statement, feel free to disagree.
When Hoke finished his career at Ball State, there were no QBs, only MEN playing MANBALL. Then Bill Walsh came along and ruined everything.
Still looked better than Taylor Martinez....just saying.
And that's saying something since Hoke looked like he was trying to chuck a watermelon.
6 DAYS UNTIL WE SHOCK THE WORLD!!!!
I like your enthusiasm, but one top ten team beating another is not shocking the world.
When your thus drunk,,,,anything is shocking. Wow it's 6 am PST.
The fab five weren't exactly a division II team when they played Duke. I think the reference has more to do with the fact that the game is being played on a national stage and no one expects Michigan to win.
The Fab Five were freshmen and they weren't pre-season top ten either.
bringing back the cabbage patch after a Michigan upset of Bama. Pure gold. The dougie is back.... why not?
"If you wanna play in Texas, you gotta bring the marching band"
I think that's how it goes
I want to drive in Alabama with a "Neil Young was right." bumper sticker.
ermahgerd i'm hypervernterlerting!
so close now.."I feel like a lighting bolt, just hit the tip of my penis"..
Nice to see another DH fan here
Interesting vibe coming out of Hoke, Borges and Mattison in their interviews. There's the to-be-expected coach-speak about "always room for improvement." But there's a certain ... dare I say it? ... calm, quiet confidence in how this team has formed.
No cocky boasting (that's not their way), but also very little obvious lowering of expectations.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this ... but I sense the coaches know something we do not. Yet.
I keep getting the same vibe as well.
I am getting kind of the opposite. The coaches have mentioned lack of consistency in almost every video - which is concerning if not just coach speak
agreed
I agree with Don AZ's observation here, but with regards to what you pointed out, I think that the "lack of consistency" phrase rolls up into the coack-speak of "room for improvement" though. I would imagine that most coaches and coordinators would talk about "lack of consistency" at some point in camp or maybe even in the season wherever they saw it, but in this camp, they're not settling for some readily attainable level of competency (i.e., not lowering expectations - if that's what they were doing, I don't think we'd hear ideal state phrases like "hearing football" or "Michigan defense" as often as we do in pressers). It seems to me that, as much as they use these coach-speak terms, they do like what they have and the are pleased with what is happening, even though we see mere snippets of it.
Especially his comment about his cornerbacks not having enough closing spead. My be he is baiting Saban.
Ommameh interviews, but no magic happening :(
What a teaser for tomorrow
We won when our mobile atheltic QB (Demetrious Brown) hit our best reciever (John Kolesar) on 4th down in the End Zone for the win.
I'll take that again.
I gotta say, the blue jersey / blue pants combo has the potential to look pretty sweet. Not something to mess with at home, but something to keep in our pocket for a future bowl game or for when we go down to Death Valley to play LSU some year in the future. I can dream.
Has that ever been done?
