Ferra had lost like, infinity pounds and was now a totally awesome nerd.

Sounds to me like John's never had 2am BTB while shitfaced.
Better food in New York, my ass...

New York probably has the best food anyhwere. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Ann Arbor has great food, especially for its size.

I'd rather eat here
than here

...of Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, I can vouch for Ferrara's take on the quality of Italian food there. I definitely miss the markets and butchers of the Rosebank neighborhood.

Every time I think it's safe to leave off the /sarcasm tag, I'm proven wrong. My bad.
August 30th, 2010 at 8:57 AM ^
And clearly he hasn't been to the Olive Garden. I don't know if you could find better food in Italy.

for the /s tag. For a moment, I was going to go ballistic. I mean, O.G. is some good food, but eesh!

Not to mention unlimited salad and breadsticks. Believe that, homeboy.

head to head with Michael Strahan in a gap-tooth death match.

If he isn't the most stereotypical New Yorker, I don't know who is. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders. Doesn't he have one of the highest, if not the highest, GPA on the team? I thought I remember reading that somewhere.

...echos Ferrara's challenge to the fans:

IIRC, Lloyd Carr said that the Ferrara house was one of his favorite in-home visits ever b/c Mrs. Ferrara was such an amazing cook.

I don't know if I've ever been so pumped about a season opener before in my life. I can' wait to see our boys bring it to the Huskies. We're going to be flying around that new turf at speeds the Big Least has never seen. GO BLUE
